Because he is a Jokic merchant. Without him, he is a fatter Jordan Clarkson.

Could have been bigger so that's the good news for Canada. They'll need a perfect second half to get back in this though. Very much probable but they have to put some pressure on ballhandlers early because that has been what made them a special team in their group stage games this Olympics.

Putting a halftime bet on Canada, best best value now.

Collet made his revolution! Offensive players on the floor with the right to attack (Lessort and Cordinier) and surprise... It does work!!
Lessort is in Euroleague firsr team and we was not used until now.
Thanks SGA, there is only 16 points, and everything is possible.
LA 2028 (Starters):
Francisco - Strazel - Malédon - Traoré ?
Coulibaly - Fournier
Risacher - Cordinier
Yabusele- Hoard - Essengue/Penda?
Wembanyama - Lessort - Raynaud / Beringer /Sarr?

There were blatant mistakes from ref in first half, but most fouls were justified - that's what you get playing small ball against one of the best big men team. If Canada's guards don't step up it's over.

They have 25 ft's in the 1st half so far.

Canada should probably stop fouling so much then

Biased wemby fan, refs are calling ghost fouls for France just like they did when France was against Japan.

You pulling for France cause of Wemby? I thought you were Canadian?

My native country isn't in it.

So the order is native country, then wherever a Spur plays or coaches, then Canada.

Just tuned in. Is Canada getting destroyed on the boards or what's going on. Very low scoring game from them aswell. Where is top 5 player SGA?

I wasn't giving full attention, but I havent seen outrageous refing at all, this board always blame refs no matter what, they using Dillion Brooks to guard Victor and Lessort, they are there to get eaten, its a miracle Brooks has only two, guys are outmatched in size in big way.

I did too. They are too good for me to pass this bet up.

Canada is curiously just +280 to win thls game— way too low that am biting and betting on big comeback from Canada.

Dwight Powell was a barely passable center few years ago, could rim run and guard on the perimeter, but bad rebounder, doesn't space and no rim protection at all, now he's slower and with less burst so he's become just unplayable, the other 2 centers Canada have are worse players.

SGA is the only reason this isn't a 30 point blowout. No one other than him decided to show up. Canada's getting bullied down low due to their pathetic rotation of big men. Yes, some calls were iffy but there's 0 reason why Canada should have only 29 points.

Getting destroyed on mismatches. Resulting in easy baskets down low, (lots of) free throws and considerable foul trouble on key players (Barrett has 3, Brooks has 2, Dort as well i think, have to double check)

France is bigger and going to the free throw line at will, especially Lessort, who is very good and drawing fouls historically, and Canada put Brooks on him, Lessort is a center... France has lead on glass, but I would not say they destroying the battle, they simply had more defensive boards because Canada misses far more often. Not offensive game, but France size winning the battle so far, Canada can't stop their bigs without fouls. Board says its rigged, but I think its just France using their missmatch better so far.

Murray should give a quarter of his salary to Nikola, just out of respect.

If Gobert somehow contributes this second half, i think France can hold on to this lead... i imagine his pride is hurt now. LOL
