Nah, I really do like him every year until the playoffs come around. Then I can’t stand him until training camp, it’s a vicious cycle
You could just leave.

He's right tho...You could find another team to follow.

Aw, aren’t you two cute.

Here’s more advice, you both could stand to not be so much in your feels about another man’s fandom. Very weird stuff there.

Been a fan of the SIXERS way before Joel and will be a fan way after Joel. The ride is fun!

Then stop making it fun for others with your constant broken record negativity. We get it...If you want to bitch about Embiid go to the GB, or r/NBA. You'll make lots of friends over there.

I have a better idea, why don’t you create your own board/shrine for Joel where you can bask in his glow and ban anyone who doesn’t kiss his ass?
Until then, you’re not the gatekeeper for what gets talked about here. Second, I don’t go out of my way to criticize him, I’m on topic and I’ve both praised Embiid and called him out when warranted.

It’s just you don’t see that because your head is so far up Embiid’s butt that it’s stuck and any time someone says anything slightly negative you get in your wittle feelings about it, derailing threads. It’s not a requirement to love everything he does to be a Sixer fan, get over it.

LOL, look at my posts during the offseason. I've been critical of Embiid quite a bit. Told him he needs to lose weight. Stop making an ass out of himself during interviews and talking ****. That he doesn't have his priorities right, and that if felt that he shouldn't have been playing in the playoffs then he shouldn't be playing now.

Unlike you, I understand the concept of nuance, and realise that there are positives and negatives to Embiid. When healthy he's the best player in the league, that cant' be debated. It's unfortunate he's never healthy during the post season. And when he's hurt he usually plays worse. Wow, I'm really making **** up here right? Maybe actually think about what you're writing, instead of acting like I believe he's the best thing since sliced bread.

Your schtick since you've been on here, has been nothing but negativity, and it's draining. There is nothing slighlty negative about your posts when it's basically every single post of yours about Embiid. Find me 5 posts you've made this year where you're complimenting Embiid. Once you do that compare it to the number of posts you make that are negative about him. Have fun looking, might take you a while, given that you usually show up when Embiid isn't playing well, and are no where to be seen when he dominates.

If Embiid deserves to be criticised I do it.

The only thing that's weird is you trashing the team that you are supposedly a supporter of. Then again you're probably like this in every aspect of life. Just a miserable dude that tries to bully people on a sports forum. For the record little guy, I didn't ask for your advice. Oh, it's 2024, you can stop with the "up in your feels" attack. It's a rather old and stale approach at this point *yawn*, but keep posting your opinions on Joel Embiid. Everyone here is so interested in your takes! You are truly an important poster on here and we all care what you think! Keep us posted little buddy.

The season has not even started yet and already 76ers fans are at each other's throats.

It's gonna be an awesome season. Let the games begin !!!

It's not that at all. I just don't think that anyone really cares that much about watching a stacked U.S. team shooting fish in a barrel, which is what this tournament comes down to.

I love the media trying to stir up interest by pretending that the German or Canadian teams, which are essentially collections of lesser NBA players, are going to mount some sort of serious challenge to this group of future HOFers. And the 'challenges' of Steve Kerr to find the right rotations, when he could pretty much throw any five out there and win.

I'm not knocking him for it at all, but Embiid chose the U.S. for the simple reason that it's pretty much a guaranteed 'championship'. Smart man.

He looked great, Jojo finally is starting to get legs out there and look like he should. He is the best player on the best team on the planet.

He was playing drop coverage, but it was funny when he all of a sudden decided to guard that little dude. Glad he went to the bench for the second half, team USA don't need him doing all that...all he has to do is show up and coast like he's been doing. Too bad haters hate that, but its true to decrease his high chance of injury.

The league will not like a more in shape and motivated Jojo at the start of the season for a change.

Can't take too much from these games but if he can get the 3 point shot to be semi automatic it will allow him to coast on offense a lot easier. Few said it best the difference today is that he made his 3s lol.

Thats a shot he can get anytime and if he can master it, it makes him harder to defend. He has gotten in trouble when he attempts to create from that far out or get mid post position as its just going to end in a double which even if he passes out of correctly, thats a win for the defense most of the time. The one thing beyond health and experiencing winning lol I wanted out of this summer was for him to realize that its a lot easier to score when you don't have to create or dribble , just take the open looks and stop overcomplicating things by always trying to be a guard at his size, his natural gameplan should be a plan c at best imo.

but at this point I just want to win so as long as he doesn't **** it up, Idk how it happens lol.

quiet as kept the best part is that if he does go doo doo mode, he not only has a team around him to make up for it but also the team is able to sit his ass down lol. Won't have that full luxary but hopefully Maxey takes a leap, PG isn't washed, and Drummond is able to hold down the fort...

You nailed it. If Joel takes the 'thinking' part out of the game and just takes that open elbow jumper off a pick 'n' pop or takes the open 3, he'll be impossible to defend. He'll be fresher late in games due to not exhausting himself with the grifting stuff and battling in the post as much, he can seriously make a run at DPOY (the one personal accolade I'd love to see him get at this point), and the offense will flow instead of falling into that stagnant mess that has plagued the Sixers the last few seasons.

They are shooting lights out, these old men better get some Icy/Hot at the half.

Yeah he lands so stiff legged, at least he dropped and rolled. Perhaps he's been taught to do that.

Yup, in today's perimeter oriented game, all it takes is one bad shooting night from the US and one good shooting night from the opponent and they are out of the race for the gold.

It was at least a pretty graceful landing
