Reading between the lines? So you are just coming up with what you think it means and declaring that the truth? Markkanen can't be traded until next offseason so he is already trying to prop his value up?
Also, if you think the entire objective of the Utah Jazz for 2024-25 is to do everything they can to be the worst team in the NBA, then okay--they are not "succeeding" by keeping Markkanen. After all, how did the ultra-tank plan work out last year for the Pistons (14-68) and Wizards (15-67)? I'm certain the objective is not to try and be this year's version of the Pistons.
