1 behind the Dodgers and 3.5 behind the Phillies. I certainly wasn't expecting that with all the injuries and uninspiring attempts to beef up the rotation.

Also, #3 run differential in MLB, which I never would have guessed without looking. Other good teams have flaws too, always remember that.

I think what's even more impressive is that he's added ~3 WAR since then. So since June 1st He's more or less been an ~8 WAR player. Not only has he been the best hitter on the team but he's providing legitimate value on the bases and in the field.
