Nitpicking here, he definitely over dribbles for a man of his size. His rebounding isn't that bad though, and I figure we will rebound better than expected this season. We will need a team rebounding effort though, which we have never had as our guards and wings in the past have never done that recently. They just sit there and expect Jojo to get it.

Talentwise, he is a GOAT level big. Noone real big man has ever had his skillset, and that's only threatened by Wemby who still isn't really a real big man unless he gains weight...he's just very tall.

I mean, LeBron slept walked to 12 defensive rebounds at 6'8. Embiid is absolutely gigantic, biggest guy on the court, and got 4 rebounds. He's capable of rebounding if they come easy to him. Unfortunately at this level, they rarely come easy. Guys are swiping at the ball, guards crashing boards, etc. He has to put in huge effort to get them because he's not naturally good at tracking them down.

In the end it's conditioning. I guess he prefers to conserve what little energy he has on offense and defense.

I;ll say it again, the day he loses 20-30 lbs and gets to 270 is the day his conditioning and knee issues will be behind him. There is still time this offseason to do that.

I agree with you, but with that many 3s shot in that game, there were alot of long rebounds. I'm not worried as much about his rebounding in the NBA this season. I'm more worried about our guards and wings rebounding, and especially our guards. Boston has good rebounding guards, so does the Knicks. Our guards do nothing and we expect more from Jojo. He can only do so much.

Probably gonna nitpick about Embiid's two consecutive 4th quarter TOs or something.

You know it’s bad when you need to go on a Joel Embiid Olympic victory tour

For the record, I never said I hated Embiid or he sucked lol. I said he annoys me at times and pisses me off in the playoffs. But because nobody can criticize him unless you sanction it, you twist it. You really have an unhealthy obsession with the man.
always a jump shot away.

JoJo needed that moment and win and I’m so stoked for him. I think this win could unlock something in him especially if we win Gold.

Not gonna lie tho…watching him give up all those offensive rebounds has me very concerned about the Sixers lol

Serbia out coached US again. They were playing Jokic at PF or truly double big all night.

Kerr has played Davis and Bam together during this tournament, but never did that with Joel I don't believe who he actually plays more because in large part he's the Big that's the best shooting threat... Meaning it could be easier to do that with him if needed.

You can reliably pick out who is still upset about Colin Kaepernick by reading a Joel Embiid thread on the GB.

There's some real stormfront moments on the GB.

I've truly never seen anything like this in sports. Has there ever been a more hated individual, for someone who is actually a decent human being, and has dealt with a lot of **** in life?

Joel talks **** but hasn't done **** in the playoffs. Back it up, big man.

Also foul merchants inspire large groups of vocal detractors. Harden got a lot of this during his run in Houston (not as much, because Harden didn't talk as much smack).

If they get to at least the ECFs (where they should have already been twice now, I might add), then the cockroaches will scurry back to the shadows.

I'm glad Jo had a good game, specifically against Jokic. However, I'm still not sure he learned the right lesson. Time will tell.

LeBron easily clears. Dude has a story that Americans usually love: pulls himself and mom out of poverty, marries his HS sweetheart, never has rumors of infidelity, never gets in trouble, hype is realized, GOAT conversation, generally a nice guy, raised a bunch of good kids, an absolute freak well after his prime...

One of the most polarizing players in the NBA because.... he complains to refs, he left Cleveland (who wouldn't), joined a "superteam" and he has opinions on society that may differ from your own.
