It would be nice to finally go into a playoff series with hot bats for once instead of the usual 2nd half regression. Chourio is a beast and if Ortiz can round back into form, I feel better about our chances hitting since the Yelich injury.

I honestly can't believe how quickly Chourio went from young rookie to holy **** he's good. And he may be "just" really hot right now, but you see the glimpses and...hot damn. He's 20.

Obviously you never know what's going to happen down the line, but think of how fortunate the Brewers were to sign him to that contract. 8 years, $82 million, with two option years at $25 mil a piece. Had he or the Brewers waited that price tag would have skyrocketed.
