It’s 5:30 am in Paris and KD claps back at a Denver Nuggets media YouTuber lmao. KD and social media never disappoints.

I don't know if "choked" is the right word, but they had a 13 point lead going into the 4th and then went 0-9 from three mostly on wide open looks. This was a very winnable game for them.

Yeah, at the very least, it was big missed opportunity down the stretch for Serbia. The one that sticks out was that wide open 3 on the wing that Serbia missed with 2 minutes remaining. That would of put them up 5 and put them in the drivers seat to take this game. Instead, the player misses, leading to Steph curry hitting a 3 on the other end to take the lead. And the Serbians weren't able to recover.

Also, does anybody know what happened to Jokic's 3 pointer? I remember him being unreal from deep in his 2023 playoff run. But ever since then, he has been terrible from range. He went 0/6 from there today.

Fouling Curry at the end down 2 after running 19 seconds off the shot clock was also a brain dead play.

Lol why exactly is Lebron getting blame? Him embiid Durant and Curry brought them this W down the stretch and he's getting criticized

Blind hatred should have Lebrons face on it because stuff like this is ridiculous. If anyone should be criticized it's only 1 dude....Steve Kerr. His lineups and rotations damn near cost them the game.

Dude had a triple double guarded Jokic and all you see is hate. People got issues.

Disingenuous take from this dude. How is this the most talented team in the history? Are we ignoring age lol? If all those guys were 5 years younger i'd say sure this is the GOAT team assembled.

Lebron is 40

Curry is closer to 40 than he is 30

Durant is 35 with countless injuries on him.

They're still way more talented than any other team in the Olympics...But lets not act as if it's prime Curry-Lebron-KD

they would have won by 35 had that been the case.

What team in basketball history is more talented? Only team that has an argument is the 08 team. But that team didn't have nearly the talent at center as this team does.

I'm reading the posted Twitter Lebron hate and it amazes me that LeBron is criticized for providing room for a teammate to hit clutch shots while Giannis and Jokic have never won a title without a teammate hitting clutch shots like Jamal Murray or even being the designated closer in Middleton. Jokic didn't have a closer to finish the job for him against Team USA while Team USA has several closers.

6 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the 4th quarter, along with some quality defense on Jokic with the tournament hanging in the balance. He played a great game.

Also, the LeBronze nickname continues to be moronic. He was eight or ninth in minutes on the 2004 team and averaged something like four shots per game. Possibly the worst coaching job of Larry Brown’s career.

This Team USA is certainly beatable as we just saw yesterday, but as I see it keys for France will be:
- PG position: This their most serious weakness, as the trio of Ntilikina, Albicy and Strazel look shaky and turnover-prone. They need to give their best in the final, and not turn the ball over!
- Wemby: Has been dissappointing so far, especially offensively. Wemby needs to have his best game for France to have any chance of winning.
- 3pt shooting: Fournier, Batum, Cordinier, Yabusele and Wemby all need to make 3pt shots at high percentage.

It will not be easy for team France, but it is not an impossible task.

France has 0 chance. Serbia played perfect game outside of couple bad Micic shots and still lost(yes some bad calls didnt help but still). France is awful, they were lucky Germans had bad they and refs pushed them against Canada.

i am not making the same mistake with Serbia (though of course, they have the best player in the world) and will not declare that France has zero per cent to steal this gold medal.

Putting it at roughly 10%. :banghead:

Nope they did choke it away. I don't wanna hear about talent down the stretch when they had a big lead.

They choked period.

Bull. That takes away from what Curry, KD and Lebron did down the stretch all of three of them put on a clinic. Don’t down play their efforts. They are all time greats 3 of the top 20 players ever to play the game. Team Serbia didn’t choke those all time greats took it from them. Don’t down play what what Curry, Lebron and KD did down the stretch.

No it doesn't take anything away from what they did but Serbia had been making the same shots (and even tougher ones in the 1st half) earlier in the game. 4th quarter came around and they tightened up - they weren't made for it including Jokic. It happens - you're playing against a superior talent and you have a lead and then you see it dwindle and you tighten up. Both things can be true and that's what happened here. Serbia should have won that game even at the end with how the U.S. played it literally came down to the 2nd to last play essentially. There were mistakes made late in the game as well that they simply didn't have earlier in the game. Credit the U.S. defense for sure but its was an absolute one-sided affair in the 4th quarter - I don't care how talented one side is. They were good enough to have a lead through 3 quarters of the game so you can't just now point to the talent on the other side as the only reason for the loss. I'll leave it at that.

This is why no one listens to LeBron haters, there's nothing rational about this. Any type of sensible anti-LeBron comment just gets blown out of the water by stupidity like this. Even a LeBron critic would end up being pro-LeBron just to not be seen with this type of logic.
