I just have zero faith of this ever happening for us because of Danny Ainge....
Well the new owner apparently won't pay Lauri so it's now a trade him or lose him for nothing scenario. At least that's the latest lure to keep teams interested.
I get that doing business with DA is tricky but it is also all about leverage. That said, I do not want to part with any unprotected 1sts.
Finally the Lauri circus is over. I had no objections about trading for Lauri but the price was far far too high for someone who project as a 2a or 2b to Devin.
I think the roster is set with the training camp guys having the opportunity to push out one of the bench guys but to do that the Spurs will either have to trade (for which I think there is little market for the no.10-15 guys) or swallow $3-5m which the Spurs do not like doing.
