Do you have eyes? They celebrated their 3rd place. :banghead:

He’s trolling but it is so obvious it is down right dumb. I expected more intelligence coming from him. Apparently not though. A third grader could have done a better troll job than that. Embarrassing

Actually you're right. He's been trolling Mavs fans that they've been worse since Brunson left  It's just dumb how much he can get away with on these forums. Almost derails any discussion.

Listening to Bill Simmons and he mentioned Curry’s 1st half defense contributed to Serbia lead. To be fair Serbia nailed triples against every defender it felt like.

I would disagree with Simmons, seems like he just wants ratings.

Idk about the ratings stuff lol. Bill has a good eye for basketball and I like his opinions and talk about basketball. Just wasn’t sure if I saw the same thing

For them Bronze is a gold. No one was winning against this super team. Curry’s gold is going to be great. I expect Curry to score 30 plus today

That's such an unamerican method of thinking. The Great Wilt Chamberlain never looked at the Celtics as some unbeatable team because they were filled with All Stars and won the CHIP every season. Wilt Chamberlain simply kept working until he beat them. But in this weird reality that Celtics team was somehow an indomitable force AND Wilt is a loser for not having won more than two rings.

Sad that germans didnt get any medals, they deserved it.

Nah Serbia just choked. Blaming the refs when more than half their shots were from 3 and still got nearly the same amount of FTs as the US. Then they proceeded to flop to try and cheat the game because they couldn’t make shots under pressure. It happens though, they weren’t made for the moment and that’s why they’ll always be a team that never actually wins a gold medal.

Hahahah, tell me you didnt watch the game, without telling me you didnt watch the game. Choked? You dont know what it needs to play a team as talented as team USA with a team like Serbia. Guys were out of gas at the end, couldnt keep up. Thats why they took 9 threes, its because they didnt have energy to do anything more. Playing defense against 5 superstars at the same time for 40 minutes is exhausing.
That aside i will just write some things and you tell me which of those am i not right about.
- Jokices 1st foul in the 1st quarter was clean block which resulted in 2 points from the line and of course let Embiid cook later because Jokic couldnt play defense with 4 fouls.
- Embiid gets the ball, makes 2-3 steps and starts dribiling and goes for a dunk for a 2 points.
- Lebron goes into transition, at one points picks up the ball on his hip, makes 2-3 steps and then continutes to dribble. Serbia forced to make a foul, USA gets 2 points out of possession.
- Durant starts his dribble on the left side and goes out of bounds with left foot, goes for a midranger and 2 points.
- USA runs transition, avramovic makes obvious foul on purpose, refs don't call it, Lebron swings to a corner for 3 points.
- Durant gets a ball on the right side, Davis and Jokic fall down as Jokic tries to go around Davis block. They both fall, Durant makes a 3 pointer after the foul(if it was a foul). Team USA gets the foul and the ball, and makes one more three out of possessions. 6 Points.
- Booker slams Joker as obvious as possible on the drive, not a foul and and1, -1 possible point for Serbia

All that is 17 point swing, and i wasnt even mentionig the little stuff where Bogdanovic fouled Lebron, they let him play and then they called foul in active shooting 2 seconds later which resulted in 3 points. And milion more small calls but those ones were probably on the other side also. They ofc banned twitter account which made compilation with all those calls.
Avramovic flopped once at the end, which was stupid move and now you are calling whole team for flopping whole game? Cmn be serious.
You can be ignorant and ofc it is easy to be funny and call everyone salty when you win, that is easy way. Realistic and smart way would be to say that you were lucky, but still take that win and the gold before the "moral victory" of Serbs which is normal, everyone would do it.
After reading couple of your posts, i expect one more 12 year old response to this.

EDIT: I have to add ofc, team USA is better team and they also fought hard. They picked up intensity in the 4th and Serbs started strugling with lack of energy. If Serbia could make 1-2 more plays, maybe it all wouldnt matter, but they couldnt. I dont want for this all to sound like team USA played like **** and didnt deserve to go trough. They just had an extra help which i didnt think they would need in these olympics considering how talented they are.

Great stuff from Avramovic, now I see why they were so locked in today. Such an important player.

What a fun guy. Some people don't understand personalities like that who have failure and don't dwell on it long and sulk, etc but just say, "it happened, let's move on, let's keep going".

...but it's a great means of having resilience, it's a great means of keeping others going after disappointment, love it.

In addition, the first quarter really took Germany out. Sometimes when you get down early it's just tough to close the gap, but that's basketball, it happens.

I would be surprised if a team doesn’t call his agent after this Olympics. He would be a good defensive guard to have on the bench

At the end of the day, you have to wake up tomorrow and have the same life that you had before you woke up today. You have the same personal problems you had today. They're going to continue to live the way they want to live and continue to do the things that they want to do with them and their team and be happy with that. You can get a few days or a few months or whatever the case may be on being happy about not only Jokic, but the Serbian National Team not accomplishing their goal. But you have to get back to the real world at some point.

yup. this is the last go for a truly legendary generation with LBJ, Curry and KD all on their last legs. they earned it, the world wants to see those guys over Tatum. is current Tatum worse than those guys? it's probably a wash but it's hardly the point.

Tatum will be one of the leader of the 2028 team, he'll get his due but this was all about the last "hurrah" of the supreme oldheads

US are the only country that order the medal tally by total medals and not gold medals like everyone else. The US therefore see a bronze as equal to a gold.

"LeBronze" is a moniker steeped in FAILURE. It's not meant to celebrate him.

A bit surprised by Wemby's stats on the Olympics, thought they'd be a lot bigger as the best player on that team. His shooting efficiency has been down in this tournament.

You clearly have never been to Serbia or any eastern-block country before.

They are celebrating because they are, genuinely happy, it’s beautiful to see rather than someone standing middle court and thrusting themselves.
