LeBron easily clears. Dude has a story that Americans usually love: pulls himself and mom out of poverty, marries his HS sweetheart, never has rumors of infidelity, never gets in trouble, hype is realized, GOAT conversation, generally a nice guy, raised a bunch of good kids, an absolute freak well after his prime...
One of the most polarizing players in the NBA because.... he complains to refs, he left Cleveland (who wouldn't), joined a "superteam" and he has opinions on society that may differ from your own.
LeBron was almost universally loved until "The Decision".
The ego on full display drew a boatload of detractors IMO, not the moving to Miami part. The LeGM stuff since then adds to it.
I think Jo might get more actual hateful **** than LeBron though. LeBron it's more like "f that guy keep him off my team" whereas Jo has people openly rooting for his injuries.
