Hats off to Serbia by the way. We keep forgetting how small this country is, they really have no business having the reigning MVP and fielding all those medal worthy teams over and over again. There's a bit of a basketball miracle going on in that country, they know how to teach the game.

If you took all of the best players from Europe and put them against Team USA, they would still lose. Europe has over twice the population of the US.

One thing that surprised me was how bad the rebounding seemed with Embiid.

We'll never know.
Although any team that includes Doncic, Jokic, Giannis and Wembanyama would be pretty hard to bet against.

I’m still in awe.

I’ve watched the Curry clips of his last 4 triples like 70times.

Shoutout to Lebron, KD, & Book getting him the ball in those situations. They all knew he was in his zone. KD knew and gave it right back. That last shot was so wild with KD & Lebron wide open. My goodness man

I don't really get the whole 'Avengers' thing though. US won Gold at the last Olympics so what were they avenging, exactly?

Europe produces highly skilled players that are above the average height of a NBA player. Steph showed how dominant players below average NBA height can be. Europe produces no guards. I remember when people used to call Manu a European guard.

Why was he stuck on the bench again? Surely having Haliburton run things beats having offensive possessions go stagnant with Edwards/Jrue et al lmao.

Haliburton is a product of pick and roll and open court basketball. Team USA isn't built for that kind of basketball.

The Dream Team smokes this team.

Crushes them.

Jordan
Magic
Bird
Barkley
Robinson
Ewing
Malone
Stockton
Drexler
Pippen
Mullins

The Dream Team would eat this team alive.

No one can compete with the talent on that team, even with Bird done and Magic sick.

Jeff Mullins was on the dream team?!?

Yea as much as the dude kept saying how he watched the dream teamers play back in the day, I kept noticing him effin up Mullin’s name repeatedly

same.

Fans just ran out of ideas of a name for the team and im stumped too lol. I'll always remember this Olympics for featuring KD, Curry, & Lebron as well as Currys heroics, but no nickname comes to mind.

Considering it is likely their last Olympics (honestly LeBron could retire and still start in 4 years), it could be an "Endgame" situation. This is the last time they will team up.

Well, they were calling LeBron “Captain America” and they already have an Ant-Man.

It sucks that the only likeable players on the US team barely got any run: Tatum, Bam, Holiday, and White. The rest of the team is super annoying.
