I want to see the Charlotte Hornets stepping up to make sure we take home the gold medal in LA in 2028.

Na, 2028 gold will be ours this time

This would be my way too early prediction for the 2028 team. I left off Embiid and AD because its hard to project them being healthy enough to play four years from now (I was surprised Embiid played this time tbh). Either one would probably be the starter if they do end up playing. I see Brunson as a placeholder for the 2nd PG spot and think there is a good chance that one of the younger PGs will establish themselves for that spot by 2028, but not sure who that is going to be at the moment.

PG ~ Tyrese Haliburton
SG ~ Anthony Edwards
SF ~ Jayson Tatum
PF ~ Chet Holmgren
C ~ Bam Adebayo

G ~ Jalen Brunson
G ~ Devin Booker
G/F ~ Brandon Miller
F ~ Cooper Flagg
F ~ Paolo Banchero
PF/C ~ Jaren Jackson Jr
C ~ Evan Mobley

There is a chance you have Dybantsa in that line up.

If this is true it should help with the issue of not having as big of a talent advantage moving forward.

It's going to be epic one way or another. I'm looking forward to it.

If Melo is able to keep his ankles healthy, he's definitely that caliber by 2028. Miller should be glued to Khris Middleton tape if he wants the job (assuming he doesn't blossom into like a Booker level scorer)

Its good that its not a given that USA will win by 40 each time, while it was amazing to watch dominance it also made the competition a little pointless.

Was watching a podcast with Arenas and other former NBA players and they were discussing names who could make the 28 Olympic team.

Feels good they mentioned both Melo and Miller. Shows you we have talent people just don't care to discuss us because we have been terrible for years. Hopefully they start winning games and change the narrative.

We very well could be a team of the future if Melo can stay on the court.
