It is the only way the Nets would consider moving him. Hence, it is not happening. They just paid him to be a key contributor for the revamped Nets come 2025-26. Why would they ever trade the guy? It does not make sense.

Way too good for NO. Ingram is an injury waiting to happen seeking a max, and they turn him into their one position of weakness while getting the better prospect as well in the young guys swap? Yes BKN is getting a valuable pick, but D LO sucks and Rui is JAG making 17 mil a year
