Los Angeles Dodgers starter River Ryan is done for the season after suffering an elbow injury in his last appearance.
Ryan, 25, suffered a UCL strain and it\'s still too early to determine if the pitcher will ultimately need Tommy John surgery.
The right-hander is widely considered one of the top pitching prospects in the Dodgers organization -- if not one of the top pitching prospects in baseball.
In four games this season, Ryan has a 1.33 ERA and 18 strikeouts in 20 1/3 innings.
