3 in Paris, 1 in rehab in Europe, 1 attending, 1 with 5 kids and a beauty queen wife.

If he wanted better attendance from his teammates, the date wasn't perfect.

I presume he practices them at least to some extent.

Certainly Joe subs him in situationally exactly for that skill.

So happy for PP, Emma is a gorgeous bride and Blake Griffin being minister for their wedding is amazing.

On a personal/self indulgent level, I share the same birthday as PP, I turned 18 the day Payton was born (despite Australia being 18 hours ahead lol)

That half court buzzer shot from game 5 in the finals by PP still sends shivers up my spine.

Big call bur Pritchard could end up being remembered as a Danny Ainge type for us off the bench in years to come.

A traditional short, school yard scrapper type of player with a propensity for making big shots when required.

Dare I suggest Payton has now achieved Cult Hero status amongst the Celtics fanbase ?

Yeah the halfcourt shot that pushed our lead to 21 in a series we were leading by 3-1. Probably saved the game and won the series.

Payton had such a good year and his contract leaguewide is such a bargain…. But … as a second apron team facing repeater luxury tax penalties …. And …. With the team on the market for a new majority owner … seems like the most likely outcome is that Payton will be the first sacrificial lamb, that he will be moved for a min contract point guard and a couple 2nd rounders because the cost savings practically necessitates the move.
