Curry and Lebron.

Jokic taking the ball out of MJ's hands doesn't do anything to help MJ's game and when MJ is working in the mid post, Jokic doesn't have much to do. We've never seen Jokic operate with another ball dominant player, but he doesn't seem like a guy that's going to take advantage of the attention MJ creates with off ball movement or cuts to the bucket.

Pippen took the ball out of MJ's hands, MJ was actually very good off the ball.

Jokic plays off Murray very well, their two man game either with Murray as initiator or off DHO sets for example is very good. Jokic is a pretty constantly active player, he's always getting into space, rolling, cutting, screening after making a pass, etc.

I'm not sure I'm seeing these concerns.

I didn't say I had concerns. I'm sure they would be great together. But it's all very much conjecture in a way that it isn't with Lebron and Curry. Jordan and Jokic played in very different eras.

But the main problem is that the question is flawed. Better duo to build around but who are the three other guys they're playing with? With the small amount of info the hypothetical is providing, I'm taking Curry and Lebron. But a case can easily and obviously be made either way.

I just want to know how Jokic and MJ would get along. Would MJ take Jokic out on his all-night gambling sessions? The first time MJ yells at Jokic for getting dunked on by Shaq would Jokic's brothers jump MJ after the game?

We see him with Jamal.

So Curry would be reduced to a spot up shooter like all olympic games other than semis and finals?

I'm taking Jokic/MJ. Curry/Lebron would probably have a higher ceiling due to Curry's ability to just knockout a team in a single quarter due to how high explosive of a scorer he is. But Curry has those stretches where he just can't buy a basket because of the variability of the 3 point shot, which can lower their floor as a duo.

Jokic/MJ are two of the most consistent offensive weapons in NBA history. I personally value the consistency more. Plus in terms of personality, I think Jokic/MJ works better. Jokic would have no problem deferring to Michael as the alpha.

Bring back the triangle! Jokic would fit in perfect next to MJ. It'd be like Kobe/Pau on steroids with the two GOAT's.

You're thinking about this all wrong. Jokic would take MJ to his horse races where he could gamble all he wanted. Hell, MJ would probably buy a few horses himself after being introduced to the sport.

I wish they had harness racing in the Olympics instead of hedge jumping.

MJ would never dare punch Jokic. Jokic isn't some whiny little bitch. If Jordan punched Jokic he'd turn back around and put his ass out cold.

I like the mentality of the Jokic/Jordan duo, for what it's worth, and I think Curry loses more value if his shot isn't falling than the others do.

but when shot is failling no one is close

Steph anchored a dynasty and won multiple titles. Revolutioned the game with his shooting. So one of these guys is a tier below but it isn't Curry. Try again.

Jordan > LeBron, Jokic > Curry. Easy choice.

This is a win win

Jokic in the triangle - easy - having a alpha guard that can get you 60. Jordan having a center that can pass and score- mj, jokic, Pippen; kukoc and Rodman could be the best starting 5 ever -

Curry playing off LBJ- Easy

LBJ, Curry, Wade, Bosh and ray allen starting (using the Heat roster)

It’s so good to imagine this -

Agree with MJ - no way jokic passed Curry - i love jokic but curry - 73 wins, 2mvps and 4 rings and greatest shooter ever is hard to say anyone with absolutely better than him but mj and lbj

It’s easily Lebron and Curry. MJ and Jokic is great fit. But Lebron and Curry would be gamebreaking.

Jokic and MJ would be great finishing games. With Lebron and Curry, I doubt there would be many close games.

Curry is going to shoot 44 % from 3 on 12 attempts and there isn’t really anything jokic and Jordan can shoot 66 percent from 2 and the foul line there isn’t a damn thing they can do to close that gap offensively. Mike and jokic will be be better in crunch time, but this is just no contest overall.

Phil won 6 titles with a system designed to take the ball out of MJ's hands.

Why so many crazy threads that don’t make any realistic sense. Is this fun?

Jokic -MJ : way better defense, better passing, better efficient scoring, better rebounding, better leadership, better killer istinct.

If Curry gets hot , Curry+ Lebron could avoid to be swept, winning one game max , but it's a long shot : the difference is too great

It's MJ and Jokic.

The flexibility of having the GOAT with one of the modern great bigs like Jokic is a cheat code.
