Looks to be a great season ahead, with most teams in the top 8-10 looking to get stronger squads.

Hoping Villa can maintain their momentum and build on last year. With CL football added, it will be tough, but VERY happy with the depth added to our squad.
Some very good players added (Maatsen/Onana), some promising young guys (Barrenchea, Iling Jr, Nedeljkovic and Philogene), anbd also think Barkley is a great pick up for a reasonable cost.
Luiz is a loss, and Diaby will be missed, but needed to sell somebody and they both bought in good returns.

Hopefully we will have a fully fit Jacob Ramsey and Emi Buendia back at start of season, with Mings a month or so behind.

Think there will be more incomings and outgoings...exciting times ahead.

I must confess all these Argentinian players, Italian coach of Chelsea saying what E. Fernandez and co did singing that terrible song isnt a problem at all is getting in the way of me enjoying top European club league like PL football at the moment.

It feels even more soulless and It feels extra ironic these white men saying there is no racist intention to all these non-white players in club football.

Call me crazy but I feel United will have great season and will end up in Top 3. Speculations about Ten Hag's job security is over, solid additions of Zirkzee and Yoro, and I have very little doubt that they will not have as many injuries as last season. I feel Rashford will treat this season way more seriously after miserable one he had last year and being omitted from England's squad and Mainoo already showed how good he is. Plus Garnacho and Hojlund will have an extra year of experience in PL behind them, watch out!

Seems like the PL is at the height of popularity and financial strength.

So the incentives may be to not rock the boat, maintain the status quo, don’t touch any of the top clubs.

Talk to me when you lose the PL by a point despite breaking 90 points. It's happened twice under Klopp (97 points in 2018-2019 and 92 points in 2021-2022). For as good of a season as it was, Arsenal finished with 89 points.

Regardless, this season appears to be a two-horse race between Manchester City and Arsenal. Liverpool bowed out by not supporting a new manager.

yea thats harsh. My brother is a liverpool fan and I seen his pain up close. Our first half of the season let us down.

We must aim for 30-32 wins(LOL sounds absurd saying it) and no more then 3 losses

I hate to say it but I just feel it in my gut that this is probably Arsenal's year.

I can't find a recent article but Men in Blazers podcast this week said that PL would start their investigation of City in September but wouldn't have results until January.

Yes, the November date has been moved up to September, however, any punishment handed down in January will be appealed.

Newcastle without European football could be a dangerous club for top 4.
That is, if they get to keep hold of Guimaraes and/or Isak.

Watching Man U vs Fulham. Mount is such a mystery to me - why is he starting? what is he giving to the team? guy is just plain invisible. Fernandes with two one on one misses, just keeps hitting keeper.

Zirkzee gives Man United first win of the season. What makes me most hopeful is the last attacking chance by Man United - Rashford was one on one and instead of trying to beat the keeper he passed to wide open Garnacho who missed easy shot on empty net. If we see this passing, unselfish version of Rashford United will be in good shape.
