1st thoughts , looks like a lot of back and forth between home and away games. And I didn’t see many National Television games at all.

Largest increase in National TV games Timberwolves +15 , Thunder +12, Knicks +9, Pacers +8, Rockets +7. As usual we get absolutely NO love.

We also have the TOUGHEST STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE for any Playoff team from last season at .506 Opp Win %

I wouldn't put too much stock into that, that will shift pretty dramatically as teams shift in performance vs last year.

5 is still pretty low for a team with this resume and improvements over the last two years. it's an improvement but I won't be jumping for joy over it, lol.

I never look too much into the schedule other than opening night.

I knew the first game was either going to be vs Heat or Cavs but sucks we are away.

I don't think that's possible since we have the Celtics 3 times and Knicks 3 times (instead of 4) and the West's best teams only two times max, the math doesn't math there.

Regardless, SOS is a fluid thing anyway. You can have the hardest SOS for one month which props it up, and then the easiest the rest of the year and it'll show up as the hardest schedule before the season starts anyway.

edit: actually I think we get NY one more in the Cup thingy but still lol

The Heat should be favored on equal rest and at home.
We will be heavy favorites against the Nets.
The Griz game seems like a scheduled loss.
The Pacers should be slight underdogs.
We could be slight favorites against the Bulls on the road.

He's counting NBATV games as national games.

The Rockets have 8 games set for NBATV.

Sucks to see 9 road games in the first 15 games of the season. This team was pretty bad on the road last year against non scrubs.

Good thing only 4-5 of those games are against legitimately good teams.

Just don’t want to see these young guys get demoralized early on.
