Guess you prefer paying Dak a record extension so he can kick *** in these meaningless games just to lose in the playoffs once again, like most fans who doesn't need to worry on paying clutch-less players big constants with their own money.
The owner does and he's not gonna take another meltdown anymore.
I guess you don't pay much attention at all the past 3 years. I wanted to ship Dak's dirty a.s out of here 3 years ago. Where have you been? He's useless as tits on a bull especially in big games against good teams. Dumb Dak reached his ceiling 3 or 4 years ago. Not my fault other loyal Cowboy fans couldn't see it coming. They buy Jerry's bulls..t, I don't. Stopped buying his bull crap 2 decades ago. And stop assuming and guessing how I feel about the Cowboys before having a conversation. You'll end up with egg on your face.
Don't follow what other posters comment especially that long ago but if you wanted Dak gone 3 years ago, did you even suggest realistic solutions on whom they should replaced him with at the time or do you just whine and complains only on their team's misgivings like most over reacting potato couch fans do. Anyone can whine, but at least I provide suggestions what they should feasibly do or whom they should go after in the draft or FA that should have a positive impact or improving depth.
Also, I don't put much stock on teams' first preseason game regardless of how they perform on any given drives as long as drafted players continue to get preseason reps they might not overwise get in games that matters or to even make the cut. That's why I like what the Rams were doing yesterday with Stetson following his 4 picks by observing how he handles himself, like can he bounce back to win the game. Same with the Vikings after JJ first pick, they left him in even after he tossed his first TD. That tells me more about players then just pulling them after a good drive. The Pats drafted 2 high profiled QBs yet only play them one drive while giving the rest of the reps to someone whom they have seen enough for 2 seasons already. I guess their first time HC really wanted to get that first win even against the worst team last season but if they continues this routine next game, hiding Maye's rawness when he needed the most reps regardless of how bad he may perform but to observe how he handle himself even when he struggles, otherwise I would seriously question his objective as a coach on a rebuilding team.
