Brewers/Guardians Series

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Thu Aug 15, 2024 9:41 pm

Cleveland has won 5 straight. Another challenging series.

Friday - 7:10 - Civale vs. Williams
Saturday - 6:15 - Peralta vs. Bibee - FOX
Sunday - 1:10 - Rea vs. Lively
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Black is 3-19 since returning. Maybe shouldn't be batting 3rd.

I really don't get some of Murphy's lineups lately

Also I don't want to rip on Tyler Black too much over 40 something scattered plate appearances but what exactly has he shown at the major league level to be hitting 3rd in the lineup?

He's made some mistakes for sure but I'm not gonna rip him for that. Easy to get caught on a comebacker like that.

Yeah probably too harsh. I just feel like we've had way more than our fair share of random outs on the bases.

Anyone else find the randomness of this team make them a little more exiting?
Adames is this team’s culture. I want what he’s got. He will be missed but he will ALWAYS be a Brewer.
Cleveland team feels a little like the Crew.

He's trying to tank his value at SS so we can afford to resign him. What a guy

Black needs to start hitting. I get it takes time for dudes to adjust to MLB pitching but when you're a prospect with no defensive value that patience leash is a little shorter.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Would be extremely funny if Murph wins manager of the year.

Very much agree and I'm trying to be patient but he honestly hasn't really even shown any flashes of why people were high on him as a prospect.
