Cleveland receives: Rui Hachimura
Los Angeles receives: Georges Niang, Ty Jerome and 4 2nds (2025 Cavs and Bucks, 2026 Cavs and 2027 Nuggets)
Why?
Cavs get a wing. Hachimura is pretty skilled, and I think he still has room to grow.
Los Angeles gets a few 2nds and unload his contract for cap flexibility.
PG: Darius Garland / Craig Porter Jr.
SG: Donovan Mitchell / Max Strus / Sam Merrill
SF: Rui Hachimura / Caris LeVert / Jaylon Tyson
PF: Evan Mobley / Dean Wade / Luke Travers
C: Jarrett Allen / Khalifa Diop
Coach: Kenny Atkinson

I don't see the Lakers trading a useful rotation player for scraps.

Re: Cavs and Lakers
Lakers really value Rui.
Davis, LeBron, Reaves and Rui are least likely to be traded.
Vando, DLo, Vincent are most likely to be moved for flexibility.

Can you describe what cap flexibility the Lakers get here?

Can’t see the lakers trading a 5th starter/6th man for 2 end of the bench guys and 2nds
Also, Rui is NOT a SF. Cavs would be better off just going with what they have.

The Cavs could still use a real backup PF and shift Dean Wade's minutes to the 3. The Cavs pretty much only have Allen, Mobley, Wade, and Niang at the 5 and 4 spots right now.

What the Cavs currently have is no one that's a SF, lol.

Re: Cavs and Lakers
If Rui is used as salary filler for a trade, i can see another team taking the expiring and multiple 2nds over him. But he's a solid player for the Lakers and they have no reason to move him if there's no on court value coming back

Both teams are better off doing a Okoro (S&T) and Niang for Rui and filler

No Lakers are just $45k under the 2nd apron which basically takes them out of the s&t market. Okoro isn't worth getting hard capped. The Lakers would value Rui more since they already have one way defensive players such as Vandy and Vincent. Outside of paying superstars such as Lebron/AD, the Buss family is very cost conscious and are not going to take the Niang contract.
