I’d trade Lavert or Okoro (S&T) and Niang for Wiggins without picks

Poeltl / Olynyk
Hachimura / Mogbo
Barnes / Agbaji
Barrett / Dick
Quickely / Mitchell / Vincent

Davis
James / Vanderbilt
Brown / Reddish
Reeves / Knecht
Russell / Christie

The Lakers would have 41M and picks to get another player. This could be LaVine or another buy low former all star still in his prime. They could also completely reset after Lebron retires after next season. They're a destination city that could reset after just 1 tanking season. AD + Top 5 pick + superstar signing.

The Raptors can develop Hachimura, he's a late bloomer who looks like he could be a good role player next to a center piece like Barnes.

No Lakers value Rui and won't be trading him unless they get an upgrade such as Jeremy Grant or Cam Johnson, although I question how big an upgrade those guys would be. Lebron will be missing games and they need Rui since they don't have any other bigger wings on the roster that can score. I could see the Lakers trading Vincent+Vandy for Brown but they would still need to add a 3rd guy such as Hood-Schifino to make the salaries work since they need to send out more $ than they take back under this new CBA. Maybe swap in DLo's expiring but then they will need another PG. Several playoff teams could use Brown but his salary for the coming season makes it very problematic for those teams to trade for him under the new rules.

What’s the incentive for Toronto to do this? Pay Moody his contract next year?

Payton/Looney won’t be back….so this means the chance to resign/pay Moody. I like him, but I don’t think Raps want to go into the tax with Moody next year.

I mean, if you don’t think Moody is worth going into the tax for then you just let him walk. It’s basically a free tryout for a young guy who was drafted in the lotto
