this is what he really needs to get more consistent at. he’s money when he just lets it fly, when he hesitates his percentage goes down drastically. yup can tell when he just lets it fly without thinking

We might as well run trade checks for AD, because he'd be an even better fit than KAT. And, no, Lebron cannot come too

I don’t know, Davis has lost some of his dominance and it’s the size along with the shooting that makes Towns such a fit. No knock on Davis as he’s probably better overall, but I don’t think he’d be much better for us, if at all.

Just enjoying the fantasy of teams having 8 point quarters against us with OG, Mikal and AD on the floor.

There was no indication the Nets wanted to move Bridges...ESPECIALLY to the Knicks.

I think a Mitch\Precious center tandem can work. I'm just worried about the 40 games of Sims playing 20mpg

The Nets have expressed zero interest in trading Bridges, according to league sources who have been in contact with them — and it’s not like they haven’t had opportunities. Other teams have offered hoards of first-rounders; Brooklyn hasn’t engaged.
According to league sources, Brooklyn’s front office has told teams it views Bridges as a costar to whichever big name it can trade for down the line.

Because he’s a top 5 center in the league or with Wembanyama emerging probably more like top 6. Nothing will happen, I agree.

So, I still think Thibs runs a 9 man rotation. The 10th man will get minutes in blowouts.

Brunson 36\ Deuce 12
Bridges 16\ Donte 24\ 8 more Bridges or Donte or Hart
OG 16\ Bridges 16\ Hart 16
Randle 34\OG 16\ Hart 8
Mitch 28\ Precious 20

i think it's cool that our last 2 most important trades were with teams nobody thought we could make a deal with. makes it feel like anything's possible. but i like our roster construction and don't think we need to be looking at major changes until giving this current iteration some time to show what it can do and what it might need

Probably not going to move him....but they better be super confident about coming out of the west with that roster, because they will have zero flexibility to improve while they're a second apron team.

Word around the league is teams are "horrified " of the dreaded second apron.

I'm glad that he is working on his corner 3 but wouldn't it be more helpful to practice that shot with his feet set in-bounds?

They made it to the WCF with their core. The core is signed for a couple of more years. 2nd apron irrelevant to them, or any team, if they are comfortable with the roster, which all signs pointing to yes. And eating the tax is less of an issue after the franchise grossed record revenue.

And when it is time to blow it up, Rudy is the first guy that's getting the axe because he'll basically an expiring contract.

We need to start playing Randle at C more with this roster.
Mavs
C: Horford | Goga | Paul Reed |
PF: Lauri Markkanen | Randle | Tucker
SF: Trey Murphy | Trent | Anderson | Simone
SG: Vassell | Trent | Livingston
PG: Spida | Mann | Deuce

If you have Anthony Edwards, you want to surround him with players exactly like Gobert and Towns (and McDaniels and NAW and Conley and Reid …). Granted, you want dogs too, but at least they get the ideal prototypes for their money - with questionable toughness of course. With one more year under the belt, they have every reason to feel confident imo.

I hope it's in the cards. That's a very dangerous lineup.

Yes true.

Still, they were basically swept in the WCF and have not upgraded their roster this off-season.

They lost an important bench piece, Kyle Anderson, in FA. I don't even know if they have a backup PG. Morris bounced.

Think they may be slightly worse.

They could use some quality depth and financial flexibility by swapping KAT for Randle( All-NBA scorer who adds toughness) and getting Deuce/Mitch as very good players off the bench.
