I've liked Fudd a lot. I'd hope the Valkyries take her at 5. She can definitely get a bucket, but I wonder if she can become a big time scorer in the W. Seems like a safe pick for first draft pick for the franchise.

Bueckers, Kiki, & Morrow and after that it can be up for grabs.

I need to see how Fudd does this season in college tbh, she's been derailed by injuries. Sabrina needs a solid backcourt make that can defend and also play on ball at times. Fudd's got good size.

Buckets to the Sparks is gonna be insane. Sparks will definitely become my #2 team

Yeah, and yeah.

All I’ve read about Fudd is high talent, and already injury risk.

Bueckers to LA is getting towards rigged, frozen envelope-esque. I know not literally, but in the too good to be true for the league sense.

Biggest glam market paired with young fillies Rickea and Cam, plus vet all star DH? C’mon.

You see the vision.

Paige Buckets, the dynamic superstar PG

Rickea Jackson, the calm and quiet assassin on the wing

Cam Brink, the super model shot blocker

Dearica Hamby, the all star vet and mama bear

The money prints itself at this point. Add in Magic Johnson as a spokesperson since he's one of the owners and you've got gold in LA.

The New Showtime, they will call it

Caitlin took that time off to work on her game and get her legs under her, she's going to run away with the ROY.

Someone needs to let Taurasi know:
“Reality is coming”
Clark is already twice the player she is now and the Olympic team would have been better off with Clark (though it was better for Clark to get some time off).
Not only is reality coming, but so is retirement.

For a 42yr old she is doing some pretty incredible things. She did her part in the WNBA and when i think of Diana i'll always pair her with Sue Bird. Both of them pushed their bodies to the limits and played 20 years in the league and for the better.

If she decides to retire this off season I would love to see Sue & Diana be part of some future broadcast team or WNBA coverage team.

Tauresi was correct for about 15 games. Then reality surrendered to Clark. :D

The leading scorers in last night's game -

Copper - 32 points
Clark - 29 points
Mitchell - 28 points
Cloud - 19 points
Tauresi - 16 points

That makes 2/3s of the points in the game scored by the starting guards. (The Mercury had a 3-guard lineup.) Great stuff for the future of the game. While I do appreciate the physicality of the WNBA, as well as the fact that it still permits some old-fashioned post play, there are times when it looks like the dinosaur version of the NBA, with size/strength overwhelming the smaller skill players. Not last night in Indiana vs. Phoenix, not at all. That was modern ball, all the way.

As, I should mention, was the Liberty game the night before. Yes Stewart and Jones scored a bunch, but not by standing next to the rim. They were playing total basketball, moving and cutting and shooting from all over the floor. Again, thoroughly modern stuff.

Thank you for the shout out :)

The Liberty can carve defenses up in multiple ways and have excellent spacing. It's also nice to have multiple 3 and D wings.

If you're Indiana's GM, you're looking to add a nice wing that can space, defend and run the floor.

Oh yes, you are. The Fever have zero wings who currently meet that description! But unfortunately, not many players like that exist. I mean, it's not as if my Bulls have one of those either. :banghead:

The league really needs to do a better job at advertising games. I had no idea Liberty vs Aces was on now

Another day, another common Liberty W.

The Aces have nothing for us. They're no threat. Their allure and intimidation factor are gone.

Will anyone else attempt to fill their shoes?

I think home teams should be able to create their own home court advantages like this.

The Liberty are far and away the best WNBA team. Doesn't mean they will win the title, as in the NBA teams that are obviously the best regular season squads win the title maybe 70% of the time. But they are certainly the way to bet.

Sky really need a point guard on their squad.

Yeah the Sparks just choked the 4th quarter. Hamby going at Cardoso is not a smart play. She's gone at her a few times lol

We are, but I'm just talking smack. Nothing matters until the playoffs.

I'm praying that the Fever stay locked in at 7th because that will be a pain in the ass first round match up

Expect 30+ from Jewell. The Fever get fried by elite #2s.
