I hope it's in the cards. That's a very dangerous lineup.

It's viable if you make OG the de-facto center on defense.

Downside is you expose OG to foul trouble and injury, banging down low, meeting drivers at the rim.

But Randle as your last line of defense at C is an automatic dunk/layup.

Word around the league is teams are "horrified " of the dreaded second apron.

If you have Anthony Edwards, you want to surround him with players exactly like Gobert and Towns (and McDaniels and NAW and Conley and Reid …). Granted, you want dogs too, but at least they get the ideal prototypes for their money - with questionable toughness of course. With one more year under the belt, they have every reason to feel confident imo.

Yes true.

Still, they were basically swept in the WCF and have not upgraded their roster this off-season.

They lost an important bench piece, Kyle Anderson, in FA. I don't even know if they have a backup PG. Morris bounced.

Think they may be slightly worse.

They could use some quality depth and financial flexibility by swapping KAT for Randle( All-NBA scorer who adds toughness) and getting Deuce/Mitch as very good players off the bench.

We agree on that, and I’ve been saying that for weeks. Plus, they can play a little faster with Randle and get rid of that odd twin tower situation. They still have Reid to space the floor. Towns is currently an underrated talent though, so I wonder if they’d consider losing him.

Randle can’t guard near the rim. Towns can…

Keep it coming...continue to doubt the Knicks, 'not enough star power'...'team of role players'...'good, not great'.

I don't want them to become darlings of the media so they stop being seen as the scrappy underdogs, the team too tough to die.

KAT just walks past Randle directly to the rim like he isn't even there. Bring KAT home!

Do you seriously think it's a good idea to try this at center on defense?
