I enjoy that Kobe lives in this person's head, rent free.

But the answer is Edwards it seems based on recent threads where we got liars claiming everyone thinks he'll be the best player in 3 years.

But with an MVP over a top 20 all time season from Jokic. It's nuanced.

You can't be serious...

Draymond would've been way better in 2024 in the Olympics for team USA vs Hali & Tatum

True Point Forward with way better defense & High IQ
I'm not even a Green fan but he's a winning player

Why are you talking about Olypmics....the question is NBA player. Olympics is a different sport all together.

Replace Tatum with Draymond and they would still win the NBA Championship in 2024

Brown would simply score more and give Porz more shots.

Draymond/Jrue/White/Brown is a elite defensive team with a lot of team ball.

Jrue/White/Brown/Green/ Porz is a championship team
If you disagree with this point, I won't have anything else to say to you about this topic

This isn't about Tatum, it's just a point that Draymond isn't overrated and still can win you a championship at his old age with team ball, defense and high IQ

He's had far more than Zion hype, but he kind of deserves it. He legitimately had some games last year where he looked like an adult playing against kids in a driveway and he may as well have been 8 feet tall.

As he starts to have more and more of those games, that's going to start becoming the norm and he'll be the most dominant player in the league. That's probably going to happen sooner rather than later. For the life of me, I can't remember the last rookie (never mind 19/20 year old rookie) who was 1st team all defense.

IMO, it's not going to be long before most people talk about how unfair the guy (already talked plenty about how unfair the Spurs lotto luck has been) is and that he's basically ruined basketball.
Brian Geltzeiler: You see Mark Jackson getting a head coaching job as early as next year?

Adrian Wojnarowski: Not if people make calls on him. Not if an organization is doing their homework and knows all the things he brings with him.

Zion so far hasn't been able to string together 2 healthy seasons in a row. He's a dominant offensive player when healthy, but given his weight problems, style of play and injury history at a young age, I'm not betting on the guy's health.

Wemby simply being an oversized guy (anything over 7'2" in my own definition) obviously presents longterm health concerns, but we haven't seen anything so far that suggests any problems. If he starts having Curry like ankle issues (just a hypothetical) as an oversized guy, that would be something scary, but we haven't seen anything like that yet.

Bottom line is that if I'm some western conference team, I'm a lot more concerned about the prospects of facing Wemby over the next 10 years than I am Zion.

Curry. He is literally not making it to playoffs without support of multiple all-stars

Sure. Voter fatigue took out Jokic but Embiid had just won his 2nd scoring title and was up there in most of the statistical angles. I dont know that it's a hot case to call him overrated, since he surely had an MVP-caliber season. Id bitch that he won with 66 GP, sure, but still.

Yes he played terrible

Yet you talk up Austin Reaves badly, and Austin Reaves was a freaking disaster in World cup, probably the biggest defensive liability in the entire tournament, brutal liability in every game. And I am not saying Reaves is bad, I am rather high on Reaves myself, but you talking out of both sides of your mouth. You are down on Brunson for being meh in WC, but you still so high on Austin Reaves... Brunson had statistically season very reminiscent of prime Steph Curry, dude is a superstar in the NBA...

Austin Reaves: In 2024-25, Reaves will earn a base salary of $12,976,362, while carrying a cap hit of $12,976,362

Both guys are underpaid, but Brunson still more underpaid. Kid should be making over 40 mil easily by now. I understand the skepticism of 6'0 Superstar, but Brunson doesn't even have to be best player and is not paid in a way it shackles a team, he is best Knicks player now simply because he is that good.

Brunson a good player most people might think I'm a hater but just imagine this.

Reaves, Hart, OG, Randle, Robinson

You have a extra 12 million to get another helpful player give you depth.

I understand Brunson has more talent than Reaves.
But I feel and think Reaves would thrive in that type of team where he can run the offense and have non superstar players but great players to play team ball.

You will also have extra money to get a player to backup Randle or Robinson
Bronny will become Murray 2.0
