Man the competition was so low there’s nothing to be gleaned from this video. Looked like NBA players playing against some former college players—I’m talking CIAU. NBA athleticism is just different.

I was gonna say, when you're starving you make do with scraps, but just noticed that Rico started back up already.

And there's this run with Koloko

that's what i was thinking. Scottie's intensity is rather low and uninspired in this entire video.
Allowing multiple scrubs who are much smaller to score on him too.

So happy this kid was able to put on some weight. We gotta turn him into our Klay, curling, running off of screens, relocating, deep range to extend the defence, BBIQ, one of my fav young guys. I need him to become angry now, a killer, less jovial, not that I believe it's a hinderance to begin with, just an edge needs to be added.

Personality wise he will always be a kid from Kansas so don't expect him to be super edgy. Maybe he should grow a beard or goatee and shave his head. He just looks like a kid from a highschool class in every picture/video. The image needs work.

Toronto itself should add some edge to the kid, a couple cold winters, his first baddie heartbreak, hanging with the fellas more, hopefully summin. Some facil hair wouldn't hurt like you mentioned

He should pull a Hayward and slick that hair back, completely changed his image. Back on topic, Gradey does look bigger and possibly taller? Cue the summer time weight gain threads

Kid put on some muscle, you see it in his back, shoulders, and legs.

I think people really underestimate his potential. I definitely see a guy who can drop 20 PPG on a nightly basis in his prime (if he keeps developing).

He's really filling out well. We noticed last year how many times he would get bumped off balance on drives/layups. Putting on some weight will help in that regard and also allow him to bump his defender to make space.

And he showed a few times offensively, almost bully balling some guys that he won't be afraid to use that bulk. The good news is that the bulk is lean bulk, as he plays hard and will need to play hard to be effective defensively. Also, he's very coordinated athletically. Might not be the most explosive or fastest, although I'd rank him average in those categories, but he sure does have great coordination, body control and touch.

Which is why I really like his potential as a scorer. His body control is quite nice, and he's very 'slippery' in the sense he knows how to contort his body to get around defenders. Once he learns to stop on a dime and pull up, he's going to be so deadly. He's a very natural scorer IMO.

I still don’t like how far back he cocks the ball on his jumper. Lot of volatility to be had in a jumper like that. But maybe he keeps up with how he ended last season?
