Nice to see a play-in team gets 3 nationally televised games opening week while the Champs get 1…

Random Stat: The Celtics set the record for most 3-pointers made per game (14.5) in a playoff run by a championship team in 2024. Previous record was by the Warriors (14.0) set in 2022.

They didn't even shoot the 3-ball that well. Only 36.0%, down from their regular season mark of 38.8%.

Celtics made top 10 without a Steve Nash, Michael Jordan, John Stockton, Steph Curry, or Larry Bird.

The Celtics would need a healthy KP to repeat. I don't think they'd get away without KP again as they did last playoffs. Other East contenders got stronger, but the Celtics got continuity and I think a bit less pressure after having won already. Can't wait for the season to start!

Ugh, this is what happens when you don't shoot midrange jumpers and force drives into the paint over and over again.

I also don’t think the Knicks are really that good. Part of the reason they’re being hyped is because they’re in NY.

I think they will be solid but a team like that is going to have an offensive ceiling that's going to limit them in the end.

Any team relying on Julius Randle as their most important big, is not a serious contender.

I think a lot of that statement depends on when KP is hurt and out. If he were to get hurt during the regular season and ruled out for the playoffs, Boston would have more time to make adjustments and could still win it all.. I think when an injury is a day to day or week to week makes for too much uncertainty and breaks a team's rhythm.

Of course I am still hoping that Tatum and Brown play more determined than ever after this summer's Olympic debacles..

I think other than Boston the Knicks can be as tough as anyone in the East..

But that is only on paper.. still have to prove it..

Knicks got nothing.

Still a bunch of 3rd options playing as second options and the little foul baiting bitch at point.

I doubt there are even in the top 5 in the east.
