Dorks indeed. When asked by a reporter what karaoke tunes they would like to perform together, their first answer was "High School Musical" and their second was Justin Bieber.

She was talking about the turnovers in the post game press conference yesterday. She was kind of making excuses for them by saying they were going to come because of how fast she plays, and because she has the ball so much. I hadn't seen her being quite so candid about them like that before, but she did add the usual "I have room to improve". Honestly, I'm with her, I wouldn't change a thing - always look to improve though.

The way she runs a fast break is literally text book stuff but the passes in the paint off of half court sets are disgusting.

I dunno how you defend it but sending two people at her off the dribble is suicidal

I've said it before and I'll say it again: none of this stuff is real beef. CC/Angel is a manufactured "rivalry". If they hated each other, believe me, you would know. They were having a ball in the all star game, you would never have seen Jordan and Isiah Thomas playing together like that or even openly talking about looking forward to one day being Olympic teammates. That's not beef, that's two professionals who enjoy competing against each other. Same thing with the Storm and Skylar Diggins-Smith. Those women are fierce competitors, of course it's gonna get chippy. Doesn't mean that there's beef.

Even earlier this year people were beside themselves because Aliyah Boston didn't punch Chennedy in the face for body checking CC, making up stuff like "see!? Her teammates hate her!". No, AB immediately went to Clark to pick her up because that's how she responds, she's a gentle sweetheart of a kid that doesn't get into fights. It's all made up. I'm glad a lot of that has calmed down tbh.

I've pointed out legit beef in the WNBA. Hamby vs the Aces. Diggins-Smith vs The Mercury. That's legit hatred right there. There are players who are exes that get into it. All this other stuff? Lol. Common everyday hoops.

i could be wrong but i think that's what noelle quinn the seattle coach was complaining about? at least that's what was said by the broadcast. afterwards, in the press conference, she said it was because of poor gamesmanship so it was either that or maybe pumping up the crowd? hard to know for sure

Becky Hammon said CC talks the most sh*t in the league and I concur. She's one of the biggest talkers. I used to think that Kelsey Plum was bad but CC is out there running PG like Gary Payton, a notorious multi tasker who was calling out plays while cussing people out:

When the Wings beat the Fever before the Olympic break not a peep was said because CC couldn't say anything to Arike after the game, because they got beat. I dunno why this is even an issue, like folks started watching basketball yesterday.

I think people are still coming to terms with the fact that women hoopers are as fierce as, if not more than, their male counterparts and it's unsettling. Get used to it lol

Yes, some media creates fake conflicts, and trying to make it TMZ. Because that's what made NBA profitable - the drama, not the actual play which is actually getting worse. We on one hand want WNBA to be more profitable - on the other we also want to keep it all about the game. It is almost impossible...

Not going into this discussion, and not saying I am fan of this direction (I am definitely not), but it becomes more profitable when players promote high fashion by acting like models, when we see them in underwear during commercials, when college students start posing for SI, and when we read about women fighting on the court and we watch cheapshot after cheapshot like a Michael Jackson eating a popcorn. That's how it is becoming more mainstream. These are the (harsh) realities of the American society we're living in, but as long as players happy with that, who I am to criticize that?

BTW, as far as I know Noelle Quinn has called herself "gangsta" after one Fever game, and acted like one after the last one. So I don't know whether calling Noelle Quinn as "gangsta" actually an accusation or a praise.

my guess is within 3 years there will be at least 15 games added to the season.

The league should do a hard knocks style show next season during camp/preseason covering a few teams. I would love to see more candid footage of the Fever, especially AB and CC, just being goofballs
