He was bound to blow a save at some point
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Really thought we had this one. I guess it's a good sign that I'm so used to us closing these games out successfully that it's legitimately surprising when we don't.

Well doesn't get worse than that. Back at it tomorrow.

Tonight's loss is on Murphy. Inexcusable
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Shouldn’t matter in the end but still annoying to watch. My hatred of the Cardinals doesn’t help the situation.

That's really the story.

It's tempting to rip on Murphy but I honestly don't know how many managers actually pull their closer in that spot. Devin has to be able to execute better and get that last out.

It was very clear Devin was out of gas. Just coming off the IL and had pitched yesterday, there was no need to push him like they did when it was clear he had zero command tonight.

I agree with you. If it was me I would've given Megill the 9th from the get go. I'm just saying once he decides to go with Devin, needing one more out to win the game most managers are going to ride with their closer.

Woke up mad. Even did a very rare thing where I went to a coworker's office to vent.

God damn that game was annoying.

Also we might be cursed with our in season reliver trades. We're only allowed to get good relievers through minor league deals or waiver claim cast-offs. Not actual legitimate trades.
