Because he is likely asking for a bigger role or payday than what teams are offering

He's a decent defender, but he's a disaster on offense.
And he's never available. He's played 234 games in 7 years and has played fewer than 20 in 4 of his 7 years.

Re: Around the NBA (Part Two)
So Dennis Smith Jr, Fultz, Lonnie Wlaker IV, Fournier, RoCo, Cedi Osman, Crawder are still available

It's similar to football for some of these guys--they can just join a team later in camp and skip the actual boring training cap (See Stephon Gilmore).
The other aspect is they probably want to play and contribute. What better way to do that then join a contender who gets an injury.
Think about getting laid off and having infinite financial flexibility. Sure, you want to work since you are passionate about your career, but also you want to live your best life.

None of those guys have built up enough credibility to be able to 'skip training camp' like Gilmore or Favre back in the day.
They are on the market because teams don't want them.

You're probably right.

Fournier is a bet is we can get him for min vet. He goes along well with Rudy but after 2 years of staying mostly on bench, im not sure he can contribute a lot.

Maybe the older guys like RoCo or Crowder. But I'd imagine the younger guys are looking for playing time as they want to resuscitate their careers and play for a bigger next contract.

I go for Fournier. He played well in Paris and could space the floor

Hoop Collective Podcast just did a re-draft of 2020. You can guess where Ant went, but I’ll leave McDaniels a mystery.
They also wondered if Dillingham could follow in Immanuel Quickley’s footsteps?

For what? If Kessler has a good year we cannot afford him. If he has a bad year we don’t want him.

To anchor our defense when Rudy retires

I meant what do we have to give at this point. What player would we trade? Also I stand by my statement that he is either too good or too bad for us to get based on this season.

I mean this with pure humor….
We’ll
Have Rudy’s expiring contract
BLUEGREENRED
Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
