Not sure how excited to be here. He feels like a backup plan because they couldn't get the Serbian guy into Madison. This guy was originally commited to Temple so not sure if he's even a P4 guy. Plus Vukovic was already 20 years old where as this guy is younger. Part of Vukovic's appeal was he ready this year to come in and backup Crowl

This is probably a bit of an overreaction, but when Wisconsin's secret sauce was taken away (building up developmental players), it seems like they might be doing this, "fine, we'll find the new market inefficiency" out of frustration and it's not going to work as well as they think it is.

He's reclassifying a year later? He just had his Junior season and he's a 2026 recruit?

Correct. He's going to a prep school for a year apparently

Not knowing anything about him until basically just now - and seeing the reclassification/offer list...

My guess is the logic being Fenderson is a younger prospect that is willing to move back, Wisconsin takes him since freshman recruiting barely matters anymore - but you are getting a guy that is raw in other areas but in theory is already athletic enough/will be more mature to possibly play in your rotation right away (with some upside).

Welcome to the House of Gards, Tre, it makes sense because there's Greg (Fire!) and Isaac (Nepo, Baby!) which means there's two of them, Gards that is, though I suppose Isaac will be long gone round yon the 2026-2027 campaign begins although Isaac Gard, Grad Assistant do have a certain ring to it, anyway, Charles Hepburn, eat your heart out, redbird, there's a slight discoloration on your follicles right about here, Tre Fenderson is going to serve'em well, this commitment is iron-clad and there's no take backs. I do smell another top 4 conference finish and baby, it do feel good. (never no mind the premature tournament exit)

The universally-beloved, high-performing Wisconsin volleyball squadron play Louisville on one of them ESPNs tonight. You could do a mite bit worse than to tune in and watch the heartland sweethearts begin their merciless march through the national landscape. Some may have better players (they don't), some may profess to, I dunno, smell better (they don't), but they shall learn the hard truth: Wisconsin is a volleyball school (sometimes football is, hockey - kinda looking like a hockey school, basketball (who knows (fire gard)))

I'm willing to bet (don't bet, kids, the Draft Kings are the devil.imo) RS will have the old cathode dialed in, probably after eating something encrusted with, um, saffron? Good example to follow. Caroline Crawford 100% rocks out to Deafheaven before the game, I believe this to my soul.

An occasion like this indeed calls for a rib cap topped with a roasted garlic and herb beurre noisette :droop: 8-)

LFG! Absolute gauntlet to start the season. Excited to see Feurbringer and maybe Schumacher - both at positions we really need.

Mic'd up huddles sponsored by Line 6 pedalboards. Turn down the spring reverb, my dudes.

Charlie rules. Good to be back to Hilley/Carlini-level setting.

That was a bummer, especially after the first set coming out so strong. Really encouraged by the big add to our setting; continue to thrive on our defensive front and striking. Still see a big gap from subpar libero play and painful serving. Gotta improve here.

Strong squad regardless, but going to be a tough week. Was going to be whether they won or not, tbh.
