I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I'm thinking they 'Rasul Douglas' Nixon this season. Too many options in the secondary.

There may be useful roster options for the punt and kick returners too. Nixon is a Biassacia favorite, but IMO, he's just another guy.

Actually do not mind this one bit. Don't care for either Pratt or Clifford, nor any of the kickers.

Re: Packers News, Transactions, Trades - Cutdown Day Tuesday
As we head into cutdowns it's the 69 man roster that matters more than the 53 man roster imo. The only bubble guy I'm personally invested in keeping is Michael Pratt. I truly believe he has talent worth developing and he's young enough to develop it.
The rest of the bubble guys I won't be that upset either way and most will likely make the PS if they don't make the 53.

As soon as they started trying Nixon on the outside I thought this. Bullard as the nickel and Williams as the 2nd safety with McKinney is probably the best grouping already.

Re: Packers News, Transactions, Trades - Cutdown Day Tuesday
For fans wondering if the Pack can improve upon last season's performance, consider these outcomes from the 2023 season:
Week 2, GB somehow loses to Atlanta with Desmond Ridder at QB. Ridder was so God awful in 2023 that he was later benched and then exiled in the offseason to Arizona where the Cardinals hope he never sees the field in 2025.
Week 5, the Raiders with Jimmy Garropolo at QB defeat GB. Jimmy G is so bad that he is benched in favor of the immortal Aidan O'Connell and then cut as soon as the season ended. Barring injury, he will never be a starter in the NFL again.
Week 6, GB somehow loses to Denver with Russell Wilson at QB. Wilson is such a bust that the Broncos eat his huge salary so he can be Mike Tomlin's problem in Pittsburgh this season.
Speaking of Pittsburgh, Dom Capers, I mean Joe Barry, somehow let the Steelers run all over the field with Kenny Pickett at QB in week 9. Pitt was so eager to get rid of its 2022 1st round pick Kenny P that they gave him away to the Eagles after the season and he is now a lightly-regarded backup in Philly.
Week 13 and who could possibly forget Tommy DeVito on Monday Night Football. DeVito, now battling to even make the NYG roster, leads the Giants to more points (24) than they'd put up in forever and a game winning drive to end the contest.
(The D also somehow gave up 30 points to Bryce Young and the pathetic Panthers' offense -- in a win).
I have no idea if Jeff Halfley will be a good Defensive Coordinator, but it will be almost impossible for him to duplicate Joe B's absolute train wreck of a performance against bad QBs in 2023.

Can't imagine any sort of justification for wasting a roster spot on Clifford at this point. If you think you can sneak Pratt on the PS, then fine, but then just go out and get a veteran backup. Dude is what he is and that's nowhere near a capable NFL QB for winning games in the event that Love goes down with an injury for a few weeks.

So Marshawn starts season on IR?
I think they will cut Dillard because he is just a guy and if they can get him to come back the contract isn't guaranteed

Yup. Regarding both:
The expectation is that rookie third-round pick MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) begins the season on injured reserve, but a new rule lets teams designate two players to IR before cuts and still allow them to return, as opposed to having to carry them on the initial 53 for a day before making that move. Dillon's recent neck/stinger issue complicates things for him too.
This is a position that GM Brian Gutekunst could alter significantly the day after initial cuts. There's a feeling internally that the No. 3 tackle (who could fill in on either side) is not currently on the roster. Dillard, the former first-round pick, signed for the veteran minimum, and the Packers would be on the hook for his $1.125 million base salary if he makes it to Week 1. So perhaps they cut him and bring him back later, allowing them to go week by week. Caleb Jones and Kadeem Telfort could also factor in at backup tackle.

Spot on. He sucks currently and he's 26 so the odds of him drastically improving are slim. I don't see any reason why the Packers would keep him as the backup QB. If they think he's smart or whatever then just hire him as Sean Mannion 2.0. There's no need to roster him

I think its Love/Pratt. I think they probably look for a FA QB and basically give a redshirt year to Pratt.
