Meh. If this were 5-6 years ago I’d be excited about this Cowboys RB room.

Cook probably has 1 good year left. Which is exactly what his contract should be. 1 year.

Cook sucks more than Lisa Ann. This is exactly what Jerry meant when he said “I’m all in”

Yeah Free Agency is a much better game to play at the start of Free Agency.

The Cowboy's method of waiting until the very last minute to sign players and then looking to see whatever FA scraps are laying around is a horrible method.

Free Agency is like a pinata, when it breaks you have to immediately jump on whatever falls out or you're going to get stuck with the crap no one wants.

Cowboys could have and should have drafted Jaylen Wright.

He's done. He hasn't looked good the last two years. Trending downwards his last year in Minnesota & then did nothing with the Jets.

Last year is completely unfair to use as judgement, the Jets signed him to be the main guy but then Breece Hall fell all the way to the 2nd to the them. Cook left the team.

I basically view last season as a plus for Cook, less wear on his tires.

If he had anything left, then Minnesota would've hung onto him. Instead, he's bounced around the league. Some team would've picked him up this offseason. But he's still unsigned. He has a ton of mileage on him despite barely playing last year. He's done.

You see it happen with RB's. Look no further than Zeke.

Minn was going to have to give a RB a monster contract, he was a ProBowl RB his last season with them, so they said later. That's the crap deal that RBs get, no one wants to pay them.

The Jets snagged him and then unexpectedly Breece Hall fell to them. Similar to Amari Cooper getting screwed in Dallas because Lamb unexpectedly fell to us. And the Browns got a steal on a great WR because of that.

I mean he probably has the same left in the tank that Zeke does, which is 1 more good year and that's it. The two of them need each other to split carries and take the load off each other. Makes sense to me.

They signed him because Hall was hurt & coming off an ACL. He did absolutely nothing when filling in. He looked old & slow. It happens. Similar to Zeke.

AH, that's what it was yes. But Hall was fine. Either way, Breece Hall's skill level is what got in the way, who was the much younger elite prospect. First RB taken in the draft. Had little to do with Cook.

What's a "difference"?

Is 1500 combined yards a "difference'?

because if we do sign Cook I bet they hit that together.

Well, I don't think you can count on Cook to be & stay healthy at this stage of his career. The cliff for RB's can be brutal.

Dallas will have to go with a committee. But I wouldn't count on either guy to be relatively productive for them. Zeke is pretty much just a guy at this stage of his career. A third down back type of role would fit him best.

Look I'm not claiming either is going to be elite prime Adrian Peterson. I'm just saying together they will be a functional RB committee. Both are 29 years old which has shown to still be functional years for RBs. What you are saying is that they are "done" which means what exactly? They'll be benched?

If they had a younger RB, then yeah, they likely would be benched or let go.

Zeke doesn't have the juice anymore. Health being an issue for Cook.

And because there is no run game to really worry about, it will be much easier to double and triple team C.D. this year.

He's worth a lot more than a first round pick. At worse, he is the 3rd best receiver in the league.
