Would you like to see a menu? Utah Jazz

Brice Sensebaugh -- Project SG. Needs to get into better shape and be more of an off ball scorer and occasional creator. $5.50

Kyle Filipowksi -- Kelly Olynyk Jr. Seems to possess all the strenghts and weaknesses of Kelly Olynyk. Will need to show that he is a knock down 3pt shooter to stick in the league. 6.00

Isiaih Collier -- Impressed me with his passing and driving ability. Will need to develop an outside shot to be more than a 3rd or 4th guard. $6.50

Image

John Collins -- Much maligned for a oversized contract. However, that contract is now getting to be quite short with this year and a player option for next. Can do a lot of things on the court well, but is a bit of a hard player to find a good fit. $6.99

Collin Sexton -- Massively improved last season. Shot the ball well from everywhere and is a pest on defense with a high motor.(48-39-85 splits) $20.00

Lauri Markkanen -- Shipment delayed, check back soon.

Image

Keyonte George -- Is bringing everything to the table except efficiency. Will he ever bring that or will be just be a high volume low efficiency guy forever? $25.00

Taylor Hendricks -- Project forward. He's got the tools, he can shoot and defend. But, looks very green out there most of the time. Needs him to play with some more impact. $22.00

Cody Williams -- Looks like a fantastic pick in an iffy draft to me. I see him as a starting SF in the league for the next 10 years. 25.00

Walker Kessler -- One of the best shot blockers in the league. Needs to play with a little more dawg in him. $18.00

Image

Jordan Clarkson -- 2 years ago looked like a walking bucket. Last year looked like a walking rebound for the other team. Has zero value as such. But, if someone out there wants to take a chance that he can revert to his self from 2 years ago, he could be had cheaply. Maybe even Jazz pay a bit to get off him. -- FREE

Why not let your food settle until November 10th when you could scoop up some of these young guys?
Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk -- 4.00
Johnny Juzang -- 4.00
Drew Eubanks -- Energy backup center. $4.00
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

And one for the high-effort creative format.

Are these real prices, or are you going to add a hidden service and tip charge if someone actually tries to buy these players.

After careful consideration I would rather have nothing.

Thanks.

I had no idea that Jordan Crawford was back in the league.

Love the format.

You definitely needed one player as MP (Market Price). Otherwise well done. A grade off-season thread.

Sexton has felt like a little bit of an under rated guy for a while now. On George, young guys are usually pretty inefficient and get a bit better over time.

Well played Jazzfan, love the innovation here, great read.

Though agree with others, with the way our society is going, definitely going to be hidden fees and mandatory tips. Its the hands out, give me way we should all get accustomed to and prepare more of.

I find it funny that everyone loves the thread concept, but the actualy players on the table are receiving crickets.

Unfortunately, Minnesota's financial and asset situation is cooked, so they probably aren't in the running for anything.

I say it all the time, but man I would love Sexton on the Magic as an elite 6th man.

Maybe Anthony Black and salary?

There's still a chance Black develops into the starter the Magic could need alongside Suggs, so I dont think I would give up Black. I was thinking more like Jett Howard+ 2025 1st+ Cole, or it could be Cole+ two 1sts. I think the first one makes more sense for both teams, but I understand many people have already (prematurely) labeled Howard a bust.

I think you and I are close.enough in value we could eventually find a middle ground.

Is there any chance the Knicks could pick up Kessler?

They have this year's first round pick Pacome Dadiet, 6'8 French G/F and one of the youngest players in the draft. I won't pretend to know his game or repeat some random scouting report but apparently he had a pre-draft workout for the Jazz.

They have a couple of smaller guards in McBride and Kolek but I doubt the Jazz need anymore small guards. They have the draft rights to a bigger Lithanian guard Rokas Jokubaitis. The Jazz may not have room for him in their backcourt right now either. He just signed a 3 year deal with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

They have 2 "firsts" from the Wizards and the Pistons. The Wizards' pick is unlikely to convey imo and will probably be converted as 2 2nd round picks with one being in the 31-38 range in 2026.

I believe the Pistons pick has a better chance of conveying as a first. Top 13 protected in 2025, top 11 in 2026, top 9 in 2027. Just from a business standpoint i'm not sure if it is a good idea for them to continue to be in the cellar of the league until 2027. They haven't made the playoffs since 2019 and haven't been higher than 8th seed since 2008.

Other than that they may only have some random 2nds, a 2026 or 2030 pick swap available and a couple other young prospects from the second round this year. A smaller salary may need to be added to make certain deals legal for New York. They have Cam Payne, Keita Bates-Diop and Sims that could fill that need.

Sexton's trade value is weird because he has a legitimately great season last year (his offensive stats are actually kind of near elite???) and everyone who follows the NBA still thinks he sucks because his archetype is so bad and no one watched the Jazz last year.

2K is a decent proxy for how casual fans view players and 2K ranked him as one point better than... Jordan Clarkson and Keyonte George.

Note that Jordan Clarkson was so bad last year that it's not clear he's even an NBA player anymore.

He's still talked about super negatively on podcasts as well and the Jazz themselves don't seem to promote or believe in him much at all, barely putting him in promotional material etc.

If Sexton ever learned how to defend PGs, he's like instantly a top 10-15 PG in the NBA and probably a top 40-50 guy in the NBA and I... I don't think that's impossible? His athleticism and intangibles are elite.

But he's viewed as just rando 6th man guy #97
