I have a feeling the Jays re-tool will not involve spending any resources on starting pitching (FA or Trade). Perhaps acquire a 5th starter depth type for injuries and that's it. Put their FA resources into hitting and the pen, or use trade resources for the pen.

They will role with Ber, ios, Gausman, Bassitt, Francis, and then a spot for Manoah/Rodriguez/signed 5th starter type.... and hope it works out.

Nah, I enjoyed it, actually. I was watching our real MVP Vladimir Guerrero, getting on base and pushing that batting average over .320

I don't think we've seen such a dominant 5 game stretch from a Blue Jays rookie pitcher before..not even from Monoah. Now I know the opposing teams Francis has faced have been terrible so I guess we should still be skeptical (though Cubs & Red Sox are .500ish and are playing for something)
