So how long does Deion last at Colorado? Hunter and Shadeur are gone after this year. And I’m sorry this team just flat out stinks. This defense looks even worse than last year’s team. Just getting sliced up by a non D1 team this first half.

The media hype this team has gotten over the last 2 years is just hilarious to see.

To be fair ND State usually as good as low to mid power 5 team, they always give hard time to FBS teams.

I dont like Deion as a coach but college football is like 70 percent recruiting, if he can continue the hype machine and win 7-8 games he'll stick around, not like there is a legacy to protect in Colorado. I think it is more likely he gets bored and tries to get a bigger job or quits in few years.

Might as well get rid of dead weight teams like Minnesota next realignment, USC and Oregon plays in big ten not like history and proximity matters anymore.

Yeah they proved that by trailing a powerhouse directional carolina team in the 4th quarter.

Although I really liked their quarterback at Coastal, kid was a fighter.

Ya I don’t think Shadeur is all that of a prospect. I think without the name he’s a 3rd round or later kind of guy.

He would be a late day three or go undrafted.

He has the highlight reel stuff, and all the athleticism and potential, but I don't know if he's an NFL caliber QB yet. I don't see great accuracy on a lot of his passes, he creates a lot of pressures (though has the athleticism to escape), and he takes a ton of just brutal hits. Also his decision making is questionable, that 1st down pass with 1:41 to go was apparently an audible by him at the line when if you just run it 3 times and punt, NDSU would've had less than 10 seconds. I think Colorado is gonna be very hot and cold this year, obviously they have a ton of explosive play ability with not only Travis Hunter but Jimmy Horn Jr. looked like a stud last night as well, but if you can't pick up the connecting plays on a regular basis, you won't have as many chances for the explosive plays so you have less margin for error

You get him in a good system with a good line and good offensive coaching, maybe sit him for a year and he could be great

But if he goes to a bad situation where his worst tendencies are enabled, I wouldn't have much hope for him.

Daniel Jeremiah already said most scouts had a second round grade on him heading into the season. The top 5 stuff is all hype

I don't think they had a ton of options if we're being honest. The Big 10 wasn't interested. Neither was the Big 12.

It's pretty telling. The ACC isn't what it used to be.

I hated when Florida St left the SEC and came here in the 90's. Didn't make sense. Then Boston College and Syracuse left the Big East and Came here. Didn't understand that one at all for a number of reasons. Then Maryland left the ACC and went to the Big-10 and in return we got Pitt and Louisville. That one did make sense to me. And now Stanford and California coming here. Total head scratcher. Just to logistics are a royal pain in the ass for all. To be honest I never got in to all the details on how it all happened, I just don't like it.
