and? Putting Curry with a team of two really old stars with absolutely NOTHING else on the team isn't a contender.

Lol ok so just let Curry play 40 minutes plus and wear him out and potentially bring back his ankle injures because the ownership is cheap and doesn't want to bring back in real talent in his last few yrs.

I hope curry realizes that they did Klay dirty, if they would've kept Klay... Yeah retire a lifelong warrior but nah

Why give loyalty to a team that played it safe and saved money getting rid of Klay.

They could've easily gave him a bigger contract and had the fan base happy, the players happy & that legacy saved of the big 3.

Green is next in the chopping block, remember this post.
Once Draymond is gone before the season or halfway thru.

Curry will ask for a trade request and he deserves it

Klay made the team worse...they're better without him. Obviously the warriors aren't in a great place to contend.

Oh so screw loyalty lmao

Warriors are trash with or without Klay

Glad LeBron showed the players it's all a Business & teams will just throw you away because they think you suck
Bronny will become Murray 2.0

This is a dumb move. Steph curry is on the decline. He going to be 37. He not LJ who is 6"8 250. It's going to be shown in him more. Also because your on the decline doesn't mean you can't be playing good fir stretches but his impact will never be 14-22 Steph. It's going to be noticeable. Hopefully his team has improved enough to hide it

Steph is still underpaid. Ask Nike, because they've lost $10 billion, or more by not resigning him.

That’s honestly a good point

Can't get a 4 year deal at 37.

I'm pretty sure if Curry wants to win a ring he's not requesting a trade to the Lakers or the Suns, lol.

AD, bron, curry would be heavy contenders. KD, book, curry would be solid too. We all seen steph playing with other stars. It can get scary fast.

I personally think it would be a short-sighted move. In both instances those teams would have no depth and be super top heavy and you have to remember, this is an 82 season not the Olympics.

Splashy move would be to join Lakers or Suns but I think the smarter move would be to join a team that would still have depth once the trade has been completed.

When's the last time one of these super teams worked? The answer is, when GS lucked out with the cap situation and could add KD without losing depth. Otherwise, since the Heatles, super teams have failed repeatedly.

Warriors won 46 games..replace wiggins and draymond with bron and AD

Or on a 47 win laker team replacing DLO for steph

Phx won 49 games with darn near no depth, now imagine steph in place of beal...

The teams with those upgrades could easily eclipse 55 wins.

Its not far fetched to say those teams could contend. To say absolutely no chance is even more ridiculous than saying they could

I quit reading after "the ownership is cheap." That simply displays your ignorance.

The new 2nd apron is definitely making the warriors cheap. Have a great weekend

Right now the richest owner in the league has his franchise below the second apron.

Does that mean he's cheap?

Are there any teams that’d even be able to afford him in a trade without gutting their team and/or worrying about the second apron? Feels like he just handicapped the team.

Really banking on those youngsters.

Which people, the team owners? The TV executives?
I agree

And the players. Yeah. It’s too much.

Someone else questioned why everyone complains in these extension thread. Think for one second. It’s hard out here in America

Don't blame the players. Blame the system the owners created so they don't have to spend as much. The players are making them a boatload of $$$$.

The warriors offered Klay an insane deal given his play last year. He declined it. The warriors have shown nothing but loyalty. But yeah it is a business. And frankly Klay should have retired after last year.
