That works position wise, maybe not enough shooting & creativity
Ivey / Beasley / THJ / Holland / Stewart
I guess the shooting comes off the bench
Paul Reed
Sasser
Bobi Klintman (who I like)

They got guys they can move around,

I like Charlotte too, new coach & yeah hopefully they're healthy

Detroit getting JB Bickerstaff was a smart move. Look at how he turned around Cleveland which was a young team with an odd configuration (two PGs in and two Cs). He made them an elite defense despite it not quite being a normal line-up. Detroit has good talent all around and we just have to see what a healthy Cade looks like. I still think he has the best player potential in that class, although Mobley if he figures out how to shoot will be tough.

I'd personally take Barnes over both for a multitude of reasons, but to each their own

I can see the argument for all 3 tbh:
- Scottie: Most success and best development curve to date
- Mobley: Highest floor of the 3 as an All-NBA defender and perennial DPOY contender
- Cade: Most untapped potential as a number 1 option

If you're buying Cade, you're betting on potential and buying the highest ceiling. If you're buying Mobley, you are betting on the safest of the 3. If you are buying Scottie, you're buying a higher ceiling vs Mobley and a higher floor vs Cade.

If I had to pick today, I think I'm choosing between Scottie and Mobley though I'm less high on Cade's ceiling than most I think.

Definitely see the case for all 3. I think I'd take Cade 2nd, Mobley seems like he's just happy to be there. Of the 3 he seems like the 1 I'd always hope had another gear to get to, or expected.

Trae is so overvalued it’s insane. No joke, I would pass on any opportunity to have him on my team. Dude’s a net negative as I see it.

The only pg on this list I’d place him ahead of is Schroeder. And that’s not taking salary into account. When you take salary into account as well… see above: DO NOT WANT

I genuinely feel bad for the Hawks … he’s the Star nobody needs or wants.

It's wild that jalen Brunson is the top guard in the east. It feels like yesterday I said short players like FVV and Brunson are hard to win with. Turns out you can overcome it with being athletic.

does the feeling of football season kicking off getting anyone else hyped up for basketball around the corner?

I listened to 'basketball' by Kurtis Blow yesterday and was like dang, am I already getting ready?

I remember last season I had a long discussion on this board where I stated that Trae will eventually find himself on a good team as a super sixth man. And I got torn to shreds haha. Looks like things are heading in that direction though. He’s just too small defensively to play as many minutes as he needs to play if he’s going to be your star.
not strong, only aggresive cuz the power ain't directed/ that's why, we are subjected to the will of the oppressive

Sort of. Regular season is still a good 7 weeks away.

COSM offers near the action experience that most fans never get combined with more of a lounge/bar type feel. In LA, DFW currently with Atlanta soon. Anyone think there would be a demand in Toronto?

This is crazy.

It had me fooled until I watched the second video a few times. I kept thinking "these tickets must be expensive." I thought the point of the video was to laugh at all the "suits" not going crazy for the td.

Just a matter of time until you watch the game from a court side seat in your home.

I would bump Dame down and move IQ up to top 6 behind Jrue Holiday and Maxey. I don't know why Suggs is so high lol. I don't care for Lamelo Ball (over-hyped and frequently injured).

Mitchell Robinson will not be back until January - will be interesting to see if a Tom Thibodeau team can play small.

Return to Toronto Raptors
