She deserves a substantial increase. They all do.

Why does Sheryl Swoopes dislike Clarke so much?

Some thought she was salty because Clark beat her NCAA tournament scoring record.

She got called out over a year for her comments on the record break and I think she's just effectively doubled down on her dislike because of the hate she got from CC fans.

Getting a young Warriors vibe from this Fever team.

Curry, Klay, Barnes, Green

Clark, Mitchell, Hull, Boston

But they don't have the defense. Not sure how that plays out.

But is Christy Sides Steve Kerr or Mark Jackson?
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Until the last game. But yesh, Indy paid the schedule price early in the season. Now it is reaping the reward.

That game was a tough watch, Dallas just did not want to go away. Until the end - winning becomes a habit, as does losing. The Fever really seem to come on at crunch time. Mitchell with 36 points and Clark with 28.

When you have a player that can go supernova like Dallas does you can be in any game.

Has anyone else noticed that Clark has had an influence on the other Fever players passing? I've been seeing more behind the back and full court passes from Mitchell and Boston at least.

I also just found out that Lexie Hull has a twin sister, Lacie, who played basketball with her in high school and Stanford. Lacie decided not to follow a basketball career. I didn't know that.

Since the Olympics, Clark/Mitchell (or if you prefer Mitchell/Clark) have been a backcourt tsunami, averaging 50 ppg between them. I wonder if that has ever been done by a backcourt duo over a 6-game stretch in the WNBA. I mean, that's a lot of points in a league where teams score about 80 per game.

Because she is racist as hell, and jealous. Said she was a 25 year old playing against 20 year olds in college, and taking 40 shots a game. The way current players talk about former players and vice versa in sports can tell you a lot about a person's character.

CC is like Steph in that she is very expressive and fiery on the court, but very humble and low off off the court. Great ambassador for the game.

i'm not sure it's racist as hell. when she spoke on the success of the fever, she did mention lexie hull and how was she was playing. is there a little bit of racism there? maybe? i think she's just a hater and being a hater isn't new in basketball or among old heads. shaq hated on dwight, joel, gobert, kat, etc.

she does need to figure this thing out though if she wants to continue her broadcasting career because it is getting harpooned right now with her just getting replaced on that fever v wings broadcast.

Yeah I noticed that too. I'm sure Coach Sides is probably thrilled  j/k

Here's a fun fact for you, Lexie isn't the only twin on the Fever. Kelsey Mitchell has a twin sister named Chelsea Mitchell

I can see if you were making an argument that Swoopes is jealous of Clark and is hating on her, but I've seen zero indication or statements from Sheryl Swoopes that were racist. Do you have any?

I don't understand this whole Swoopes vs CC thing at all. It sucks because the league needs all of its ambassadors past and present to be rallying around each other at this critical moment for the growth of the women's game.

I think this is one of the benefits of teammates getting used to a quick, ambitious passer on their team.

a) Once you know to expect those passes, you put more effort into awareness.
b) Once you put effort into awareness, you tend to notice opportunities to pass when you have the ball.

This warms the soul

Cynthia Cooper takes a pic with CC and Kelsey. Man. How crazy is it I remember watching Cynthia play back in the day. These two women are proof that her hard work in basketball was worth more than anything that you can put a dollar value on.
