Brewers/Cards Series

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sun Sep 1, 2024 9:14 pm

We lost 2/3 to them last month. Last series with them.

Monday - 1:10 - Peralta vs. Pallante
Tuesday - 6:40 - Civale vs. Gray
Wednesday - 6:40 - Rea vs. Fedde
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Nice to specialize in the 3-run HR.

I was thinking he had better get one in that AB with the shadows about to become a factor.

Coming into today Chourio was batting .335 in the second half. 158 ABs. What he's doing is insane.

I thought Bauer was making me look stupid for thinking he sucked...for like a week...2.5 months ago.

Chourio should be in the conversation for NL ROY.

Starting to wonder if Willy should be in the MVP discussion, non-Ohtani division.

It's one of the Jackson's to take. Don't think Skenes has enough innings or team clout to pull it away from these guys. Merrill will be the favorite and may win handedly (his August was also bonkers), but Chourio might have current narrative on his side.

Fully expect Chourio to finish 3rd but you never know if he continues this run the rest of the season. Helping us finish 1-2 in the NL would certainly help the narrative.
