I think there arguments, considering outlier shooting and the ability to handle any form of coverage in the most advance era of basketball puts curry in precedence as the greatest ever. What are ur thoughts :D :D ??

The argument is 'I just started watching the NBA 9 years ago.'

Only MVP I can remember who had a following season that put him in the running for most improved player.

Consistently underrated throughout his career. He's probably better than the general consensus. His revolutionary style of play just confounds orthodox analysis.

Oh and also the records. Every player who ever played a season in the NBA had a shot to lead a team to the regular season wins record or the playoffs wins record but Curry is the best player to have a claim on both.

Being the engine on the team that is a strong contender for the greatest NBA team of all-time too. Sane people would recognize that as an automatic qualification to the debate.

I have him top 15,20; don’t even have him top 10. Don’t know how he is GOAT when LBJ is pretty much the best player on the court when they play one another and the best player in his generation. Curry’s own teammate, Daymond, even thinks LBJ is the GOAT.

But if you had to make an argument it would be his title as best shooter of all time, arguably the best player on a title contender, and his mvps.

Absolutely none. He’s not even the best player from his generation.

Even with that argument, that means you also saw LBJ, lol.

Best player on the court was Curry. Many people don't see it though. Such people tend to see Andre or Draymond or even KD scoring freely and think that's all Andre, Draymond, or KD when it's actually highly influenced by Steph.

It's a valid argument if you just hate Lebron that much, but are too self aware to think old timey players were better than him.

Everyone would tell you it’s Lebron but I know how you feel about Steph so there is no point debating.

Of course you would avoid debate. It becomes embarrassing when one recalls how players like Wade and Bosh were supposedly washed while with LeBron whereas Andre, Draymond, and KD never looked better than they did with Steph.

Two legit arguments…

First is unconventional for basketball but like boxing if we think in terms of pound for pound he’s definitely the most valuable player with the natural body and athletic gifts given.

Secondly, as the Olympics showed that whilst guys like Lebron are higher floor raisers, no one raises the ceiling more than Steph when he is on. God mode Steph is the most valuable piece to ever hit the court

Disagree on both counts.

I am a die hard Curry fan, but no way I can put him as GOAT conversation right now.

1st tier: Jordan, Lebron, Kareem.
2-1 tier: Wilt, Russell, Duncan, Magic, Bird, Shaq
2-2 tier: Curry, Kobe, Hakeem

People make comments like this but it really flies in the face of common sense. In a team game, the greatest team of all-time likely has a top 10 player. It is harder to assert that a player who has never led a team that is arguably the greatest is actually the greatest player.

Why not? Did you even watch half of those guys you named play?

Saw 9 out of 12 players, so not bad?

Nothing against Curry but he is right after those 11 for me

All right so what is your basis of ranking them the way that you do?
