Pittsburgh is the best place for him in my opinion. The only way he can save his legacy is
If he went to a team like the Steelers and won a title.

What legacy are you talking about concerning Dak? Great players become legendary and create their own legacy in the playoffs. That's always been my understanding. I was unaware Prescott has even made it to that level. Legacy, please.

Legacies are not always good. Even non-winning QB’s have a legacy. If Dak retires and the only team he ever plays for is the Cowboys then that’s his legacy. If he becomes a journeyman that will be his legacy and likely no one ends up remembering who he is. Romo never won crap and has been retired almost 10 years and people still talk about him. That will be Dak’s legacy if he retires as a Cowboys QB. Hell people still even bring up Don Meredith and he never won crap. Being a lifelong Cowboys QB and never playing anywhere else has its own legacy win or lose. Obviously though Troy and Roger are held to much higher standards, they’re the benchmark.

At least Dandy Don played in 2 NFL Championship games against the team of the decade in those days and began the Cowboys 20 year run. Christ, even Danny White got us to 3 straight NFC championship games. Dak Prescott and legacy just doesn't sound right to me. sorry.

Well looks like Dak will be a Cowboy for life, or at least for the next 4 years.

It's probably not fully guaranteed, meaning the Cowboys have an out at some point, maybe in 2-3 seasons, if he's not performing and they got at least a prospect on the roster by then, the team could try to restructure or cut him to save some cap money.

It's not really that surprising. They were going to pay Lamb and Parsons because those two players are among the best players at their positions.

So if they paid those two big money, no way were they going to try to play with some untested QB while paying those two among the highest salaries at their positions. Not when their QB put up MVP numbers last season.

Nor was Jerry going to go into a full rebuild at his age. He has no excuses for not paying the big stars, since Cowboys are probably the highest revenue team in the NFL, the richest sports league in the US, maybe the world.

Fair.

Plus, you still have Mahomes to lean on. Not all is lost.

And Micah has been endlessly masterbating since the news broke. Ain't this going to be a wonderful day. Leave it to Jerry to ruin another day. Can't wait for it all to start. Not.

Parsons will probably get the biggest non-QB contract in NFL history.

The Cowboy haters are in football heaven. What a day this is going to be. I'm not putting water in my bong today. Straight Tequilla.
