Jae Crowder To Work Out For Kings

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Sep 11, 2024 1:21 pm

Jae Crowder is set to work out for the Sacramento Kings ahead of training camp opening. Crowder is an unrestricted free agent, after playing for the Milwaukee Bucks for the last two seasons.

The veteran forward averaged 6.2 points and 3.2 rebounds in 23.1 minutes per game for Milwaukee last season. Due to injuries across the Bucks roster, Crowder started in 25 of the 50 games he played.

Crowder has also played for the Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns during his 12-year NBA career.

He quit on PHX because he didn't want a bench role... two years later he's working out for teams, hoping for a bench role.

He's declining kinda quickly on a yearly basis... he's a lot different now compared to the player he was 3 seasons ago. Not sure how much he has left in the tank. Could be a valuable vet with playoff experience to have as a 3rd stringer though!

I wouldn't want a bench role for a team with NO sense of direction and a coach who doesn't know how to coach.

I don't think that applies in either case.
