Game 2: Colts at Packers - 9/15/24 - Noon - Fox

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sat Sep 14, 2024 12:13 pm

I'm guessing we won't know if Love is playing until the inactives are announced tomorrow morning.

Don't want to go 2 games down in the division.

Go Pack Go
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

This seems like the most likely scenario. Gute and MLF just dabbling in a bit of subterfuge for a few weeks before Love comes back.

Can't change your offense much for a game or two (especially since Willis barely knows it as is) but I'd do some running plays with him. And/or options.

I really want Reed to play. A real difference maker.

Reed is also critical on those short yac plays that willis will need.

Sounds like Jayden Reed & Marshawn Lloyd are both playing today
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Excited to see what Marshawn can do in the backfield this year. Probably take him a bit to knock off the rust but I think by mid-season, he could be an explosive weapon for us down the stretch.

Not saying he will turn out to be wrong but it has been pointed out that Lewan was only there when Willis was a rookie.

I've gone back and forth between convincing myself MLF can cook up something effective for him to thinking it will be the NFL version of what Locke was doing against Bama yesterday

Other than Love (big of course) we're full strength. I saw that in the last 5 years teams that started 0-2 have made the playoffs 5% of the time.

Colts, Titans, Vikings, 2 at home, are games we have to have.

Make it a lot easier on Willis if they can keep running like this.

He was called illegally down field. How is that not on him?
