When will fans learn not to overreact to games & players (especially rookies) after 1 or 2 performances?

Rome is the 3rd WR and likely 4th or 5th target overall. There was never any situation where he was going to put up big numbers or outperform those drafted around him.

Need the 1st drive from our offense to not be a quick 3 and out.

Need some 1st downs and good momentum to build for the game.

If you wanna put a bar on the potential numbers Rome might have, Tank Dell's rookie year is a good bar. He started the season last year as a 4th/5th option and by mid way into the season was the solidified 3rd option.

47 catches, 700 yards, 7 TDs

If you want a production comparison for this season, Tank Dell would be a good choice. 3rd WR on the depth chart behind two stars, constantly switching from slot to out, playing with a new receiving-capable RB this season.

Different kind of player than Rome, but expectations for production and the position he's in in TX is very similar to Rome's with Chicago.

This O line is terrible. Caleb is saving them from looking even worse so far.

We need to completely rebuild the line. Jones isn't good against above average matchups. Jenkins is hurt all the time and has been bad. The rest are just ass. Wright is extremely inconsistent but he can be the only one we keep

We have 3 picks in the first 2 rounds. Coming into the season I was thinking if the OL held up, we could use all those picks on defense. Now I’m thinking we should use all on the offensive line.

Yeah I think it was a miscalculation this year to not add talent on the OL. It's rough.

When Houston dials up the pressure the Bears better have more than that to offer

Ronnie Stanley (LT), Ryan Kelly (C), and Zack Martin (RG), are all high level free agents. they'll all be over 30 but i dont care. I don't want to hope we draft someone good. I want to spend 50/60m on all pro level linemen and have our first great OL in 20 years. **** it....double down and draft OL with our first three picks too

Well Caleb threw it away which is better than getting sacked. O Line not giving 2.5 seconds for the play to develop though.

Both lines would have to over perform to win. It doesn’t look in the cards

Return to Chicago Bulls
