We’d have a better chance with DD riding the bench in the playoffs (if there was no Kawhi). He was that negative in the playoffs.

Can you really blame him? He gets told directly from Masai that he isn't being shopped during summer league and then gets traded out the blue. Then we win our first ever chip in the first season he gets traded.

He helps lead the Spurs into the playoffs his first year and then spends his last two there in the lottery. Then signs with the Bulls to lead them to a 15 game improvement and back into the playoffs only for injuries to Lonzo and LaVine to side track any sort of momentum in his last 2 years.

I definitely respect his confidence but 2019 DeMar is a worse player than the one we seen last season and even that guy is levels below 2019 Kawhi. Even if the boogeyman was now in the West, Jimmy would have ate his breakfast, lunch and dinner in the 2nd round.

He wasn't being shopped until Kawhi was available and SA said who they wanted. And we don't beat the 76ers by emptying the clip. Not to mention Danny Green's 3PA of .371 against the 76ers.
