The Denver Nuggets have hired former Denver Post reporter Mike Singer as director of intelligence and strategy, according to Bennett Durando of the Denver Post. Singer is releasing a biography this fall on Nikola Jokic titled "Why So Serious? The Untold Story of NBA Champion Nikola Jokic.” The book will be released by HarperCollins.
Singer was the beat writer on the Nuggets for the Denver Post between 2018 and 2023. Singer previously was the national NBA editor at USA Today.
Other previous media figures to go on to work for teams include Lee Jenkins with the LA Clippers, as well as Royce Young with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
