Sadly, all evidence points to Ed Rogers being an idiot

This ain't good.

For all the anti-Masai people, you're going to get your wish. And it ain't going to be pretty.

Look on the bright side folks. Other than 2019, 1992 and 1993, being a sports fan in this city has prepared you for what is to come. Now, instead of wasting 2-3 hours in front of a TV, we can all do something more productive with our lives.

Does this mean Bell channels will lose Raps? Or I hope there will be some licensing deal, otherwise this truly sucks.

Bell said it has secured content rights to the Maple Leafs and Raptors on TSN for the next 20 years and will continue to broadcast Argos and TFC games.

That's what I'm afraid will happen. They will hire some good old boy retread who sucks up to Ed and they will give him full control for a decade plus.

Based on the latest forbes valuations (converted to CAD dollars)

Raptors: 5.6 billion
Leafs: 3.8 billion
TFC: 1.0 billion

These three teams make up almost the entire valuation.

Sad times. The track record is clear of preferring controlled mediocrity to risk taking. Was fun while it lasted.

Is there a feeling that's like the opposite of how we felt the morning of the Kawhi trade? Cause that's what I'm feeling today.
