He made no adjustments as TJ McConnell turned into **** Steve Nash. Never just telling the team or coaching them to go under the screen by a **** mile until the dude made a 3.

He sucks.

TJ McConnell was the reason we lost that series? Feels like there might have been a bigger factor than McConnell winning a match up.

You may want to re-watch game 6 and 7.

A healthy Knicks team could've taken the Celtics to 7 or even all the way to the Finals.

If we are only marginally better, then that's fine with me. Health was always going to be the number one issue with this team. Second is Thibs.

Injuries happen. Look at the Knicks v Heat series two playoffs ago where Randle had to miss game 1.

Putting Kevin Love in midway during game 1 to abuse an out-of-his-depth Obi Toppin, after seeing that he lowkey can't deal with physical forwards to take away homecourt advantage, is the perfect example of what I mean. Up to that point Kevin Love had been playing as a stretch 4 for Miami but they asked him to bring back Timberwolves Love and Obi had no idea how to deal with that. They then took the lead and kept it through the whole game.

Next game and through the rest of the series, Randle is back, and Love wisely goes back to shooting 3's. So you're not wrong, but taking advantage of missed Randle in Game 1 by having Love come in and beat Obi up is a mix of both of our points. Especially when Love comes in and does not play like he has been playing for almost 2 years. He was at that point basically a stratch 4 because he isn't strong enough to abuse most guys for rebounds like he use to. In that game it was definitely an adjustment to Obi not being able to rebound well and struggling with weaker players.

Injuries lead to opportunities for in game adjustments.

Why? Series was over when hart pulled his oblique. Honestly you can make a case the series was over when OG pulled a hammy.

So they got hurt and he couldn't coach? Or tell Deuce to go under a screen? Did he just give up when his 46 minute wet blankets got hurt because he threw them into the minutes wood chipper?

48, 43, 45, 53, 46, 48, 48, 43 ... were the minutes Hart played before he got hurt. He got rest in the blow out in game 4, that's it.

The Hartenstein loss is more significant than people are letting on.

We absolutely need to acquire a legitimate center by the deadline or we are not getting to the Finals. Simple as that.

I like Precious but he will be starting when Robinson is inevitably injured and Precious starting at center is not a recipe for success.

We will need to find a center who can offer some rim protection and good passing and high IQ. Will be a tough find but if we can find a center that can help us then we can slot Mitch to the backup spot where he is better suited.

I want to get rid of Mitch as bad as I wanted them to get rid of frank.

I have no respect for him, he has never elevated his game to the next level, he's just a dumb jock as far I'm concern.

No team wants him because they don't value offensive rebounds as much as the knicks does,
